FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I DO NOT offer hair services. I am makeup only! I do require a contract to be signed prior to the date of the event for legality reasons. I charge a rate of $10 for every hour the client is late unless notified otherwise. I take my job and time seriously so I want to make sure nothing is hurried for my clients.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love new clients and new challenges! I want to make sure the clients vision comes to life. Typically, having an example of the look the client wants is ideal. My version of soft and romantic may be very different from clients idea of soft and romantic so it’s helpful to see a picture of the looks they prefer. I will also share my expert advice from my professional background to fit clients eye shape, face shape and etc, but in the end the clients look is completely up to them. During a trial, I typically like to go through 3-4 looks the client is interested in. I do not complete the look to perfection since it is only a trial. To maximize on time, I will typically do one look on one side of the face and another look on another side.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been trained by some of the best makeup artists in the industry. Some of which who has worked in New York Fashion Week. I was employed with MAC Cosmetics for 5 years in which I traveled the country for special events as their top artist. Through the company, I was advance skills certified, teaching a makeup class certified, along with theatrical skills and tattoo cover up.
