Introduction: Most caricature artists focus on distorting features to achieve a finished piece. I simply create the whole image as a cartoon. Which changes your perception of the piece. I don't distort features. I distort reality. The ability to make people smile and laugh at themselves. Laugher is the best medicine for a weary soul.

John was great! We were in constant communication prior to the event. He showed up early and was among the last to leave. Before leaving, he made sure that everyone who wanted a caricature, had one. Thanks for a great event, John!

John was professional and the kids loved having him at our event. He prepared in advance some papers with superhero bodies so he could just add the heads. That made it possible to do many caricatures. And it added more fun to our comic book hero theme.

John provided caricatures for our company holiday party. Kids and adults loved getting their pictures drawn and Jon was great to work with. Very professional and friendly. Will definately hire again!

I wanted something different for a wedding announcement for my son and his new wife. And I got it! The caricatures are wonderful. I couldn't be more pleased. Thanks!

John was a great hit at my daughters wedding. He was personable and fun. The guests were lined up. He was quick but good, and I love that he didn’t distort issues someone may not like about themselves. It was just cartoonish. Exactly what we were looking for

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing system is simple. $100 an hour. There is a two-hour minimum. Priority will be given to clients who are willing to book/pay in advance. There may also be a charge for travel and lodging for my services. But, this cost is solely dependent upon whether or not I have to incur a cost to get to the location.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I just try to stay abreast with technology. Because, that is what dictates everything.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have always been a artist in my heart. But, the ability to draw cartoons was something I discovered as a child. And. it is a disipline that I have nurtured into adulthood.
