Introduction: I am a certified professional trainer for pet and competition dogs. I started training in Colorado in 2010. Then moved to Montana in 2016, now Oklahoma City is where I call home. I have worked in the veterinary field for 20 years with a degree in animal science. I have spent the last 6 years working different programs with the American Kennel Club & other local shelters. My hope is that together we can make your dog “the best dog ever”!

After working with other trainers in the past, I was worried we would never find the right fit for us, but then we found Justin at Jacerodd! He is patient and kind, and explains each step in a very clear manor. Without Justin, I feel we would have had to surrender our Chihuahua, now he not only responds to commands, but loves showing off his new tricks!!

I have been training behavior modification for the last 20 years. I have a successful, thriving business, but I’ve never competed with my dogs in the past. Justin came in and showed me some tips on shaping up behaviors and commands so that we could begin our journey into competition dog sports. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. I can’t wait to continue working with him and earning some titles on my dogs! He’s also a great professional handler and was able to take my dog all the way into the group ring, despite her only being in 3 shows previously as a five year old! He’s a great guy and you can’t go wrong!

Things started well, and I was very encouraged by our initial interaction. Unfortunately, the situation did not remain that way.
Contact from this vendor, Justin, was immediate and professional. After several back and forth texts, an appointment was made for Justin to come to my home on Tuesday at 2 p.m. At 3 p.m., he had still not shown up. I texted to ask if there had been a problem or misunderstanding. Justin never showed up, and I still have had no response. I understand life happens, or maybe he just changed his mind, but a phone call or text message would seem considerate and professional.
This is very poor business practice
UPDATE: I was contacted by Justin 2 hours after my review posted. He was most apologetic about having gotten his dates wrong. However, after further text conversation with Justin, it appeared it wasn't going to work out for him to to work with us.
