FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't have a complicated pricing system. I usually charge about $25 an hour. This is for one-on-one work, if the client desires this. If the client just wants me to scan and fix, that makes the job much quicker.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Recently, I have been busy learning the Adjunct trade, but I do pay attention to emails and programs related to education. I am also hoping to be inducted into Delta Kappa Gamma, the International teaching organization. This should open more opportunities for me along these lines.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I took the bootcamp of History courses, entitled Historical Research, and discovered I was a natural whiz at editing. I helped my particular semester's two classes of students actually achieve the highest pass rate that had been achieved up to that time. Then, word got around about me and I was suddenly the "to go to girl" for help. I have helped various students in this program, and many others in a variety of other degree plans, for over eight years.
