Now available are: Piano lessons (all ages) - These can potentially include instruction in composition, music theory, rhythm, math tutoring, voice lessons for kids, adult instruction on professional classical piano training, group lessons, and music history instruction. - Lessons that encourage kids to read. These lessons require the purchase of EYEQ software (runs about $180), which is a software program designed to enhance speed reading and brain activity, as well as laptop brought to each lesson with Microsoft Word installed. Last, these lessons require the purchase of at least 15 books per year, and the purchase of the first 15 books during the first lesson. The first lesson gets the kid started on one book for the first week by assigning a small amount of homework and spends the time teaching the kid organizational techniques that will get them reading 15 per year or more on their own by creating a folder under "My Documents" that is titled "Book Reviews" and creating a word document for each book they wish to read by the end of this year. We will spend the lesson going over the organization first and talking about Eye Q. If there is any time left, we will read together and make notes on the word document of their first book they wish to read. The point of reading with them is to teach them how to make good notes, so they aren't typing too much stuff and slowing down, and so that they are typing what they might use as an adult later on. - The reading lessons can be booked alongside organization lessons for all ages that involve the use of the "My Documents" folder. These lessons include supervision in clearing out this folder, re-organizing it, and setting it up so that this folder is geared to fit the student's long term goals in a more productive manner. - Math tutoring lessons can be booked although I will do not have time to study Math on my free time right now. I made A's in every math class I've ever taken, including university level courses and have gotten children ages three to seven to understand fully the concept behind simple multiplication and division by using music to teach math. These kids start by dividing 4 by 2, 8 by 4, etc. and multiplying 2 x 2, 4, 4 x 4, 4 x 1 by learning musical rhythms. This really provides an edge in math class for kindergarten students and can help young kids who are struggling in math.
I started playing guitar back in the 5th grade. I'm now 24 years old and have been playing ever since. I've taken courses online to improve and have always felt that teaching this beautiful instrument is what I need to do. Taking lessons under me will be easy, yet effective. I do not believe in paperwork or any of those. I believe in hands-on experience and practice.
We tutor math and English from kindergarten to 10th grade. We teach one on one for higher grades. One hundred percent satisfaction is guaranteed.

I'm just starting as paid writer, proofreader, and language assistant. I have a bachelor's degree in journalism and master's degree in education. I have taught Hispanic for 12 years and how to read from scratch using my own method. I have been a newspaper editor/reporter, PR writer, creative writer (sold interview with an alligator and have written poetry), and proofreader in three paid jobs.
I'm a pretty good combo of teacher, techie, and writer. Simply due to life experiences that give you added insight, I've figured out how to help people succeed by really working to make topics understandable. Plus I'm pretty funny. ;) People! I can pretty quickly get a feel for current strengths and weaknesses in learners, and I adjust tactics based on learners' personalities. I'm an encourager by nature and WANT you to succeed. :)
