Michael and his crew were amazing!!! He came to my home, gave me an honest quote, stuck with his quote, and finished our floors in the time he said he would! And the finished product is AMAZING! I am a woman who does her research, and finding someone to install new floors in my home, was no exception! My husband and I got a LOT of quotes and some of the prices were absurd! Soto Flooring was the best price, they are the hardest workers, and you won't find anyone who does a better job. I am normally a skeptic but Soto Flooring did an amazing job!! I highly recommend them to anyone. They will be coming back soon to do another project in our house!!

Michael and his team were amazing! They arrived on time, looked at the project, gave me some options concerning variables in the project and did an excellent job! His team left my bathroom nicer and cleaner than it was before he started - and the price, exactly what was quoted and perfect! Would I hire him again? ABSOLUTELY AND PROBABLY WILL! Don't worry, he is courteous and family-friendly. THANK YOU MICHAEL!

Bottom Line: Soto Flooring messed up the grout coloring and transitions, came back to fix it, failed. Additionally made a decent amount of mess, BOTH TIMES, small errors in the tile including 1-2 chips on corners (corrected), Mike also bought quick-dry grout on accident, AND rushed the first job, which contributed to these issues. If he didn’t rush and had someone come after to clean up his mess, this would have been a 5 star review. Three stars because of consistent cosmetic & cleanliness errors. Full story: Mike did a good job with suggesting tile grout colors. They came out, gave an estimate, which was pretty reasonable, and then told me he wouldn't be available for 30 days. After waiting a month, his team arrived and got cracking. Mike had allocated 4 days for the job, but ended up only using three. Now, the tile was laid very well, it was even, straight, and all that. Nothing initially stood out. After two days, I noticed that the second room had discolored grout, I had asked for a dark brown, and the first room was dark brown, but as the tile flowed into the hallway and into the second room, it began graying and looking cloudy. I also noticed a few chipped tiles in a closet. Additionally, the transitions between pre-existing tile in the entryway and the new tile in the hallway was too tall, which meant there was a gap about 3/4" high, perfect for murdering your pinky toe. Most of those lead me to believe that the job was rushed. Finally, there was grout dust/chunks EVERYWHERE. Laying on the floor, smeared on a few walls and all over the guest toilet where they weren't even laying tile (yes I'm sure it was grout). Took about two hours of vacuuming/mopping and washing to get all that basically cleaned up. Mike was very responsive and explained that the grout was quick dry, and he didn't know until it was too late. He was also surprised by the transitions being too tall, as he had taken my weights and used them to hold the transitions down. Now, if you've been doing this as long as Mike has been, I am alarmed at how he didn't measure the heights of the tile in order to choose appropriate transitions, AND how something like quick grout was foreign and surprising to him. After all that, Mike said he would be out the very next weekend in order to fix the color & transitions. They showed up and proceeded to sand down the top layer of the grout, then re-grout it with standard grout. He also tore up and replaced the transitions with new ones & filled the chipped tile corners with grout. The sanding had produced more grout dust/crap all over the floors and even on the walls. The walls were essentially imperceptible until you ran a rag over the surface, showing a distinct color difference. Now I had emphasized that I was unimpressed with their cleanup job the first time, so they did slightly better about racking it all over the house, but I still had to clean most of the entry way and entrance to the garage. After mopping and vacuuming everything AGAIN I noticed that the color of the grout was now mostly grey and didn't take any of the brown color they had attempted to put on top. I was un-willing to have him try again, even though he offered. He was completely baffled by why the color was off, and I was completely unwilling to have someone come back a THIRD time when he was unsure about why the grout was the wrong color. Basically, he rushed the first job, which resulted in minor errors. Came back to correct and fixed most issues, but not all. I didn't get the color I paid for, he seemed like he was caught off guard by a few things (which I don't need a professional that doesn't know what he is doing) and he kept leaving messes. The quality of this product could have been stellar if he had just taken the allotted time and maybe paid to have someone come clean up after them.

I had a great experience with Mike and his crew! Our new wood floors look fantastic and we could not be happier. Mike was on time, finished the job early and most importantly was honest and upfront about the job to be done. I didn't know anyone at Soto Flooring before hiring off of thumbtack but I will be sending friends and family his way for any tile or flooring.
