Introduction: I love what I do. I started in high school learning to draw my hard on a drafting board before CAD came on scene. CAD has allowed me to learn grow and become extremely efficient and accurate in my designs. After 30 year of design I now not only get to design but train engineers all over the country how to design more competent and precise to allow them more time to actually engineer less time drawing. I’ve worked with literally hundreds of direct and indirect customers, on and off site, ranging from mom and pop companies to fortune 100 companies, along with several state, local municipalities, the federal government, and three out of the four military branches on projects. My drafting and design experience ranges from 2d drafting and design for architectural, mechanical, civil, structural, piping, plumbing, electrical facilities, fire alarm, communications for commercial and industrial, new construction and remodeling. My design engineering experience has been in PLC control systems in regular 2d CAD and now exclusively in AutoCad Electrical, and soon to be 3D AutoCad Electrical.
