FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I mainly do portrait and event photography. I base my pricing on how many hours I believe I will be committing to a project, as well as prints or CD's the client may want. But here are my baseline prices. Portrait Photography: $250 Event Photography: $350 These prices include my time photographing the person/event, editing, as well as any prints or CD's you may want.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically I like to sit down with the customer first and discuss in detail what services I can provide them. The most important thing is that me and the customer are both on the same page about what they want from me, the pricing, and process, so that there is no confusion going forward.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an extensive background in electronic media. I started during college working for a TV show doing camera work, and special effects. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Media/Broadcasting with an emphasis on electronic media. I then went on to work at several different news stations as a photographer, editor, and producer. I have also done freelance work throughout my entire career as a photographer. I am currently a commercial producer in the OKC area, and everyday I strive to do freelance photography as well.
