Introduction: I will only go super drastic if that is what someone wants, otherwise, I really try to stick with something similar to what they look like everyday, just a little more glamorous. I've known people to get their makeup done and they look nothing like themselves. Although they look gorgeous, they go in expecting only so much and coming out with TOO much. That's where I draw my line unless someone wants me to go all out! I love enhancing each woman's natural beauty. I love seeing them beautiful and happy for whatever occasion it is! I also love meeting new people and this is a great opportunity for it.

Karlee did an incredible job on my wedding day make up. I asked for something classy and soft, yet striking and she totally delivered. My makeup lasted all day and I felt so beautiful. Karlee does great work and is very personable and professional. I recommend her highly.

Karlee did my hair and make-up for both my engagement pictures and my wedding last fall. I would arrive at the appointment with no preparation done, so Karlee was basically starting from scratch, and the whole process took about an hour and a half. Karlee met me at my wedding location, which was very convenient because I did not have a chance to mess anything up once she was done. She did an amazing job, and I was blown away by my make-up on both occasions. She make my eyes and eyebrows, which were my main concern areas, stand out amazingly. Not to mention that she was very sweet, flexible, and pleasant to be around the entire time. Thank you again, Karlee!

Karlee did my makeup for my wedding reception and did a phenomenal job! She was very good and did exactly what I wanted. She was also very flexible (she did it in a church gym bathroom and I still looked good)! She also looked wonderful herself! Having a beautiful makeup artist seems to make you feel more confident about your decision. I would recommend her to anyone!

I had Karlee do my hair and makeup for my wedding and was a little reluctant because I usually don't trust others to do my makeup. I hate when women don't look like themselves for their weddings because of too much/unnatural looking makeup. She absolutely did not do this. I told her exactly what I wanted and trusted her with what I wasn't sure about and she did AMAZING! I looked like myself but "enhanced" and felt stunning! Karlee knows her stuff and is a great person to work with. I recommend her to everyone I know!

Karlee is a GENIUS when it comes to hair, makeup, nails and just beauty in general! She's done my makeup for years for all of my special occasions like formal dinners, prom, my engagement pictures just to name a few. She has a way with bringing out the natural beauty in a person by styling their hair or makeup in a way that looks gorgeous and natural! How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been an artist of sorts. Music has been and always will be in my heart as number one. Also cake decorating (oddly enough) has been a big part of my life in starting Karlee's Kakes. Then makeup became almost an obsession for me. I just love the way I can maneuver it on a completely blank canvas and just polish it up. I love trying new things with it, new looks for different events. Mostly I love finishing a bride's makeup and her looking in the mirror for the first time right before she walks down the aisle and she becomes overwhelmed by her beauty. I don't make people beautiful. I bring out the beauty of who she is and who she wants to be on her big day. And THAT my dear is what I love about makeup artistry.
