Introduction: Fancy and Staple gives the gift of time. I provide time back that would be spend on planning, shopping for, and cooking meals. I provide time to spend with the people you love, doing the things you love instead of time over a stove and cleaning a kitchen. I provide time for our clients who are overwhelmed and struggling with dietary restrictions by preparing meals that are made specifically for their requirements. The gift of time is invaluable. My life's joy is to feed people. When I prepare food for my clients I hope to accomplish two things- fill their belly and fill their soul. By preparing meals that are fresh, from scratch, and healthy, I fill their belly. By providing a service that allows my clients to gather with people that they care about, around a table, breaking bread together over a warm, nutritious meal fills their soul. When I feed my clients' bellies and souls, I feed mine.

Lindsay was a leader in my Girl Scout troop. She was hesitant to do this, but jumped in with both feet. She never had anything but positive to say. Scouts wasn't for her family, but having kept in contact with her, she has not changed. Tackling everything with both hands and a smile. She is a great example of knowing what you want and going after it.

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing varies depending on the type of service, dietary requirements, and packaging. It is, after all, a personl service. However, our standard 4x4 service, that is 4 meals, 4 servings, pricing starts at $240 service plus groceries.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To get you started, Chef Lindsay will ask you to complete a client questionnaire that details the likes, dislikes, and dietary restrictions of the individuals in the household. Ideally, the questionnaire is completed in person with Chef Lindsay. Once the questionnaire is complete, your first cook day will be scheduled.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am extremely proud of my education and degree from Oklahoma State University School of Hotel and Restaurant Administration. It is with this training and through my association with the United States Personal Chef Association that I have strengthened my knowledge and confidence to bring quality meals and service to my clients.
