Jessica has been my personal trainer for the last 5 or so years. We started out in person and then moved to a virtual format when we both moved across country. What I love about Jessica's training is that she looks at fitness holistically. She loves variety, and she really worked with me to create a training program that worked for my interests and capabilities. And, she helped me change my programs when I needed to change. Jessica is personable and very knowledgeable about nutrition and fitness, but most of all she is a real person. She knows that a healthy lifestyle is not about perfection. It's about rolling with the punches and adaptation when your lifestyle and goals change.

There are two things that set Jessica apart by leagues: 1. She takes an interest in who you are as an individual and really crafts her coaching specifically around you. She puts so much thought into customizing her coaching and her knowledge and education is tough to match. 2. But most importantly she makes it FUN. She's always coming up with exciting and interesting ways to get you not only motivated to work out, but telling your friends about it. Plus she's super encouraging which is what makes you never want to leave her!

I have been training with Jessica since 2010. Working with Jessica helped me achieve my long time goal of becoming a runner. I have completed 17 half marathons and a marathon that would not have been possible if I had not trained with her. She has also been my personal trainer helping me develop strength training routines to build a stronger body. The best part about working with Jessica is that she is firm without being harsh. She is always available when you need her advice regarding your fitness goals.

After having a baby, I wasn't sure how I would incorporate working out into my "new" life. Jessica created and encouraged me to complete workouts that were challenging, yet tailored to fit my life as a new mom. She's a big part of why I've been able to make progress toward getting back in shape these past few months. Also, she is a pleasant person!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    Besides my Masters from the University of Texas, I am always working on a new certification in both the nutrition and fitness fields. I've just been certified in PiYo, and am currently working on a Precision Nutrition certification for counseling clients. This field is always changing and I make it a point of pride to stay an expert who is up on the latest research.
