Miguel was prompt in responding to our request for service. He is very professional, friendly and courteous. Miguel did an outstanding job freshening up the landscaping of our front and side yard(s). He made suggestions on what would work for our project. He completely cleaned out the flower beds, tilled the soil, trimmed shrubs and mulched. Our yard looks so much better! We will definitely hire him again for other landscaping projects. In fact, we’ve scheduled him for another job in the next few weeks.

Mike and his son recently worked on some flowerbeds in my front yard. They needed to be cleaned up, mulch added, metal borders added. They did a great job and their price was fabulous. Mike kept me informed and I will definitely use him again.

John Hausam Property Management has 350 rental homes mostly in the south Tulsa, Broken Arrow & Jenks areas. Okla Lawncare Specialists have always done a great job for us regardless if it was mowing, edging, weeding & mulching landscaping beds, cleaning gutters/down spouts, etc!!! And very prompt in getting estimates and actually getting the job done. Very reasonable priced. Recommend them to all we know. We have used them for a long time and plan to continue using them. Presently they mowing and edge all of our vacant homes as well as some of the occupied homes. They also help with the Make Readys (when a home 1st comes vacant) with trash removal, trimming bushes, etc. Valarie Brooks Maintenance Coordinator John Hausam Property Management

Zack did a great job on my front flower bed! I bought my house last winter and didn't really know what to do with the flower bed. Zack dug up the area and removed all the unsightly shrubs and plants, leveled the area, edged the flower bed with a stone border, and put down a nice layer of mulch - all while it was drizzling and raining! Thanks, Zack!

Dee was very professional and courteous when I spoke with her on the phone. I needed my lawn done asap and she made sure that happened. I was given a quote and services were completed within days. My backyard was really overgrown and my front yard and flower beds hadn't been attended to all year. He mowed, edged and replaced mulch. Everything looks wonderful and I look forward to having Three Hearts maintain my lawn!

Very professional. Brought my yard back to life. Trimmed my crepe myrtles, which are small trees, front hedge, and brought my Chast Tree back to life. Built a brick circle around it and mulched all the trees. Having him back for more work.

Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

How much does it cost to have your lawn mowed?

Regular lawn maintenance can do wonders for your home’s curb appeal. Professional lawn care prices will vary based on the regional cost to do business and regional cost of labor, the size of your lawn, and any additional services you may desire such as edging or mulching. The national average for lawn mowing costs is $30-$50. Pros may charge an hourly rate, a flat rate or by the square foot (an acre contains 43,560 square feet). Square footage rates factor in the professional’s time, the use of their equipment, and the gas to operate the mower. Distance may also affect cost: If you live outside the company’s standard service range, you may pay an additional travel fee. Here are some examples of average prices for mowing and lawn maintenance:

  • Up to 8,000-square-foot property: $30 per week/$120 per month.
    • Bimonthly: $40 per service/$80 per month.
    • One time only: $45 per service.
      • Prices include mowing all turf grass areas; trimming grass away from fences, structures, trees, and lawn edges; and clearing or blowing all grass trimmings from driveways, sidewalks, curbs, etc.
  • Hourly rate: $25 per hour (including travel, equipment costs and labor).
  • Lot size:
    • Smaller lots in subdivisions: $35.
    • Half-acre lot: $50.
    • One-acre lot: $100.
