Argentine tango, especially in close embrace, is not to be confused with American Tango (Hollywood's version, designed for the silver screen), or Ballroom Tango (also called International Tango, for competitions). This is not ballroom, it's not competitive. It's a social dance, improvised to the music, danced in the round with friends and acquaintances.
