- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. The CCB now mandates continuing education for all contractors. In addition we subscribe to over 12 monthly publications to stay on top of the latest new developments and trends in building and remodeling.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Interview a couple of contractors, find one that fits your personality and understands your specific needs. Ask for references of past customers. Look for somebody you can trust with high integrity. Then talk about price. There is no sense in collecting bids from contractors who you would not trust in your home, around your family, children, pets. Remember you get what you pay for. Check with the CCB to make sure a contractor is current on insurance and bonds and check for complaints.
