FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As part of my BA in Philosophy from the University of Washington, I studied Oriental Philosophy; while an acupuncture patient, I began studying t'ai chi ch'uan and began looking at other branches of what were the original 8 branches of Daoist medicine -- one of them being feng shui. As I continued with my t'ai chi ch'uan practice, and then began studying acupuncture, the relevance of feng shui became more apparent. I have continued to provide consultations and workshops because having a harmonious home, or office, is part of having a balanced and healthy life.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Advice based on Tibetan Buddhist Black Hat Feng Shui and landforms principles for remodeling, rearranging, and enhancing the energy of the home based upon the occupants' concerns. Both residences, private offices, and workplace flow in relationship to private offices can be assessed using feng shui principles.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask about general educational background as well as experience and philosophy of using feng shui, and whether the provider is open to suggesting feng shui adjustments that do not require expensive remodeling. Also have in mind what particular concerns need to be addressed (working out of the home, change in neighborhood, etc.)
