Clearly by the number of outstanding reviews here, Erika and her husband are in big demand as house cleaners. Well...they do a great job. They have all their own equipment and cleaning products which is safe and they team up to make my house shine. I am a fairly neat person, but I thought the time had come for me to have professionals help out once a month with the heavy cleaning. Erika has proven to be the right person for this work. My bathrooms (3) shine. My well-used kitchen gets thoroughly cleaned and polished. Erika chases away all the dust bunnies, vacuums, dusts the contents of my home with care. My stairwell carpeting gets a thorough cleaning, a chore I used to dread, schlepping the vacuum up and down the stairs. My baseboards haven't looked this clean in ages, and they really go after the pet hair from my dog and cat. J&E Shine charges very fair rates, and offers lots of other services, such as window washing, closet organization, and other specific chores for an extra fee. They have come twice now, and we're set up for October already. I give them extra points for flexibility in scheduling. Both of us had to alter our times and I was happy it worked out both ways. J&E Shine will be ly housekeeping partner in the future.
Hired Daily Service Solutions to install overhead rack in my garage. I chose him initially due to his best bang for the bucks, and I did not regret.
Sarah is one of two organizers I hired from Thumbtack due to my need and schedule conflicts. We spent about 7 hours working together. She is an energetic and efficient organizer. She was hired to help me reduce and go through the piles of stuff I pulled out of the garage being re-modeled. She was patient and personable, we talked about the things I had and the value of holding on to them, the time commitment of selling/consigning, etc... With her help, I was able to let go, donate and write-off my beanie babies. That is a big thing to a "but it was on sale, so I needed it" personality :-) I still have work to do, I am just glad I have Sarah to help me along the way. I recommend Sarah.
Isabelle was GREAT!! She and her helper arrived on time and stayed until the whole house was clean and did a great job cleaning everything while having to work around the chaos of a move out still in progress. She was very professional, helpful, and and extremely easy to work with. Isabelle responded quickly and fit me into her schedule on short notice. I am a very exacting person and wanted the house to be perfect - literally "Squeaky Clean" - and they did just that. I was lucky to get the BEST house cleaning service!!
Nathalie did a great job for me and made getting organized nearly painless! She organized my garage and home office in far less time than I ever could have. She was a pleasure to have in my home, and took the time to tailor a system for the office that works well for me and will make it easy to control the paper and everyday clutter going forward. My personal 2 car garage was on my todo list forever. Im a very busy person and finally I just gave in. A good friend of mine gave me Clutter Controll Guru phone number and that saved me. She came out to my home and helped me a ton. Well worth it and the best thing is her prices our fantastic! I would definatly use her again
I hired Ashley as a wardrobe consultant and found that she is responsive and very good at communicating a plan and setting expectations. She was conscientious about the experience which can be somewhat scary. Ashley helped go through the closet, then it was a day shopping followed up by going back to the closet to organize the new wardrobe. I will continue to work with Ashley. She knows how to help a person look good, feel good and allow them stay within a tight budget. I highly recommend Ashley as a wardrobe consultant.

We are new parents and had been looking for someone to come help us keep up with some of the basic house cleaning (kitchen, baths, mopping and vacuuming). Rebekah came and gave our 1,800 sq ft home a good cleaning in about 4 hours, and her hourly rate was less than some other cleaners we've used. I definitely recommend giving Soap Suds Cleaning a try!

I was in desperate need of some organizational help. I had recently started a new job so things had gotten away from me, and I believed that all I needed was help with one junk-filled bedroom, and maybe a little help dialing out my bathroom. When Lisa showed up, she brought with her an entire kit filled with items to help me get started. First I answered a short questionnaire, which helped me realize that I’m not truly a slob, I’m actually a perfectionist, so I tend to put off doing anything unless I can get it perfect. That was an A-HA moment for me! Then we got right to work methodically going through some of my piles and drawers, and she had a system that allowed me to quickly make decisions about where things belong, what to keep and what to let go of. That was very helpful. Within 4 hours, she had done more work than I had managed to do in the previous 6 months! I was delighted and amazed at her friendly and helpful manner, her expertise with systems, and her way of making what I believe was drudgery seem more like fun. She’s upbeat, high-energy, knowledgeable, patient and fast. I am looking forward to having her back to help with more of my rooms: my garage, my kitchen cabinets, etc., etc. Deb M. Scappoose Or.
It was so lovely working with Therese! She was thorough and thoughtful as she considered our kitchen ahead of time. Her communication was timely and I felt that she was reliable even before meeting her. The day of the "tidy" and "re-organization" she was prepared and ready to go. She knew exactly what steps to take and her approach and mindset put me at ease in light of such a daunting task. By the end of the process we had everything already packed up and ready to take to Goodwill and the kitchen.... looked AMAZING. It feels so freeing to have a space that is so clear and functional. It has made me so much more content with the items that we already have and a more savvy shopper as I don't want to introduce anything unnecessary and re-clutter. Therese checked in with me again a while after this process to see how things were going. There was one drawer that we talked through that wasn't quite living up to par and she helped guide me through this via e-mail very effectively. I highly recommend Therese!
Lyndsey is great! She's cleaned all areas of our home and organized closets, playrooms, and a garage for me throughout the past 10 years. She listens to what you want, is fast and thorough, and is totally trustworthy. Plus she really enjoys cleaning and organizing (which is amazing to me!). Wow. Autumn Rose is a real find. I'm in my late 50s and became a widower 2 years ago. When I started working with Autumn a year ago, I was burdened by the physical and emotional weight of so much stuff. I wanted to get down to things that were just mine, rather than the accumulated detritus of my parents, kids, brother and late wife. Autumn helped me identify strategies for organizing the things I wanted to keep and helped me sell or get rid of the rest. These strategies were an excellent balance of the emotional and practical. While my friends might point in amazement to the fact that I can now get my car in the garage, I think the greatest results lie in developing new skills and the ability to make positive changes in my life.
