FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure that the provider offers a solid guarantee of their services. They should back up all of their services by offering to come back in a reasonable time to clean anything that does not meet your expectations. You should also make sure that the company you are working with is licensed, insured, and bonded. If they are licensed, they are a known business with the state and therefore there is a very good chance that they are paying proper income and employee taxes. If they are insured, anything that happens to either an employee, customer, or customer's home, will be covered. Finally, make sure that the company carries an employee honesty bond. This will provide you with protection if something happens to go missing during a cleaning (e.g. a wedding ring). Be sure to ask for proof of these coverages and ask if the employer performs a comprehensive background check on every new employee. Finally, be sure that the company uses cleaning equipment and supplies that will not cause harm to you or your family. Many companies will use the same cleaning rag for every surface of your home. Do you you really want a rag that was used to clean your toilets used to clean your kitchen? At Murrayhill Maids, we will never use the same rag over and over. We also take the time to clean our vacuum before the next job to elliminate any cross contamination.
