I have been training with Robert for over four years, and I feel most fortunate to have finally been paired with a master personal trainer who trades on more than a one-size-fits-all rote routine. Robert carefully assesses where his clients are physically, he listens to their goals, and then he charts creative multi-faceted programs to help achieve them. Besides making training fun and effective, Robert is a corrective exercise specialist. He possesses an in-depth knowledge of how the body's muscular chains function and how to best address injury and pain. He is honestly a bit of a miracle worker the way he analyzes misalignments, over/under activations, compensations, and can come up with on-the-fly healing corrections. Perhaps one of the most remarkable things I've gained from training with Robert is that it seems "how" an exercise is done is more important than "what" exercise is done. His insistence on proper form is a gift that is helping me break an endless cycle of injury and recovery. I wholeheartedly recommend Robert if you are looking for a trainer!

Robert was my fiancé’s trainer first but agreed to train me also when COVID-19 hit. I appreciate it so much since it’s my only way to do a truly guided workout right now. Robert is very knowledgeable and tailors the workouts to what we need. And kicks my butt when I need it as well.

Robert is energetic and you will never feel bored during the workouts. He can always find different modifications for your workouts that challenge you appropriately. He listens to what concerns you have and utilizes his experience to help you address those needs related to fitness and nutrition. He will personalize your training plan for you based on your needs and his observations. He watches your movements and helps you identify any issues that may be caused due to daily habits. He can notice even the smallest of movement deficiencies, and that has helped me to maintain proper mobility and form. Overall, he is an experienced trainer and he has helped me to reach my goals.

Robert has been great at motivating me to workout regularly. He keeps my workouts fun, and varies the exercises so it never gets boring. I never feel embarrassed or shy with Robert, he makes me feel proud of what I accomplish during each session.

Been working out under Robert's tutelage for over two years (since just after my 70th birthday) and have never been disapppinted. He has a deep grasp of the underlying science and an encyclopedic bag of tricks to work the whole body in balance that I could never discover myself and have never seen from others. No cliches, no fads, just solid and thorough discipline to address the unique individual situation. I don't anticipate stopping in the extending of useful life, which is what it's about no matter when you start it.

FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When working with a new customer I provide a complimentary first session. During that time I sit down with my new client and have a conversation about fitness/health. This conversation typically will include topics of current activity levels, nutrition, injures, personal goals, and what has worked, and what hasn’t worked previously. Next, we will begin with some brief and in-depth assessments including range of motion, limitations, squat assessments, and any other assessment we feel appropriate. From here, the client will be taking through a brief workout including major movements mechanics: Pushing, pulling, hinging, core activation, and squatting. Lastly, we will wrap up with a cool down and a briefing of what we discussed and how everything felt during the consultation. This is also where we will discuss frequency per week, expectations, and how many sessions to purchase.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?My advice to a customer looking to hire a provider in my area of work is to do consultation with prospective trainers. This will not only help you match up with the best trainer for yourself, but it will also be an opportunity to learn and to move.
