Introduction: Hi, my name is Ben Wasson. I am a piano tuner and technician who is fully vaccinated and boosted. Welcome to my business, Stay Tuned. I focus on piano tuning, repair and a reconditioning service that specializes in all levels of Pianos. From your 100 year old upright to a brand new Yamaha C7 Grand, I can find the level of care that you would like for your instrument. My services focuses on precision and quality. A piano is a hand crafted instrument with hundreds of moving parts. It takes time and patience to care for these instruments. One of the things that I love about my work is the joy that brings customers. Caring for instruments allows the customer to bring joy into their own lives and pass it on to others. I have been a leading technician with a major piano dealership and service company in the Portland area for the last 7 years. My experience is wide and varied. I am confident I can maintain any Piano under the sun.

We had such a great experience with Ben! I am so happy that I decided to go with him for piano tuning. I messaged him and he responded within the same day with his schedule and was even flexible with what I needed. He had such expertise that you couldn't get somewhere else and helped us more than a company would. The tuning was a gift for my partners birthday and Ben got the work done within an hour and even specialized certain sounds for my partners liking. She was so excited and was playing the entire afternoon. Ben was also very personable and easy to talk to, he made the experience fun and not awkward in any way. We couldn't recommend his services more and want to refer him to any one that we can. We are beyond happy with the service, experience, and with the way he made our piano sound (60+ year old piano sounds like new!) Hope you go with him on your next tuning or any piano service!

I had the pleasure of hiring Ben to tune and balance my 1934 Kimball upright piano that used to belong to my grandfather. He was prompt, super friendly, and did an excellent job. Not only is my piano in better tune than I can remember in over a decade but the overall tonal balance is much more consistent. I higihly recommend StayTunedPDX and will absolutely hire him again!
