Lori has been my Massage Therapist for over Ten years. I have had three major back surgeries and she has always been there to relax my back muscles in order for me to continue working. She knows a lot about herbs and actually made a suave to heal my scars. The Doctor at the time was Amazed at the healing progress inside and out! I have tried other Massage Therapists but they do not compare to Lori. I will always use her and I am eternally grateful for the positive energy that she provides for me.

I've had several massages from different people and nobody has ever done an assessment before hand or checked my restrictions and range of motion throughout my body. Danielle did this and much more. She found many trigger points, restrictions and tight spots I never even knew about. She made me feel completely at ease and explained everything she was about to do. At the end of my 80 minutes she did another post evaluation and expalined the issues she found. Very informative and professional!

Mary is an extremely intuitive person who listened to me about my areas of pain, expertly worked all the affected areas, as well as found trigger points that I didn't even know existed...I have been living with chronic back pain for 14 years as a result of an injury, and in just one session, Mary got further than anyone else ever has toward relieving me of most of the pain associated with my injury! I'm looking forward to many other sessions with her, and trust in her healing hands... She makes you feel comfortable from the get go, and her skill set as a healing, nurturing masseuse is second to none... Mary is a treasure I'm glad I found! Kelley Huse

Shera Lynn is an excellent massage therapist and I would not hesitate to recommend her. Her massages have allowed me to have some flexibility back that I haven't had for years. She is a miracle worker. Shera Lynn's hands combined with the hot stones, cold crystals and essential oils will not disappoint you.

Hidden Gem - both Rachael AND the space! I bought a 12 session massage therapy package with her immediately after the first session. You wouldn't think by looking at the outside of West Hills Shopping Plaza that such a beautiful massage studio could exist, but it does. And therapists like Rachael don't come around very often, and she's been practicing for almost 10 years! She has an amazing touch. I don't know how else to describe it other than soothing and therapeutic. She gives a fantastic deep tissue massage and really listens to you if you say that you need more in one area over another. I also like that she checked in with me prior to flipping me over to see if I needed any extra attention to the areas I had mentioned. Rachael also uses hot towels - at no extra charge - as well as essential oil blends. Her booking platform is very easy to use and Rachael has an outstanding business acumen. Very impressed. I've had massages all over the world and Rachael is by far within the top 3 I've ever had.

I sought out personal training on the recommendation of my physical therapist. The goal was to continue strengthening exercises to improve the condition of my injured ankle and problematic knees. I have to admit, I was terrified to start working with a personal trainer... I was obese, out of shape, and feared that I would be judged. Then I stumbled across Corey at Thrive Body Balance and realized I had nothing to fear. He was very welcoming and willing to work with me unconditionally and without judgment. I've been working out with Corey weekly for nearly 6 months now. I feel so much stronger, and that has helped me both physically and in terms of my confidence. I also feel like I'm taking great strides towards lifelong health, as Corey works with me on "corrective" exercises to improve the alignment and balance of my body. I would most definitely recommend Corey to anyone and everyone. He is extremely knowledgeable, understanding, flexible, patient, wise, and truly just a joy to spend time with. After all this time, I still look forward to my weekly personal training sessions. They have been worth every penny, and I feel very lucky to have found a trainer like Corey.

Shannon's technique was awesome. She quickly easily found my trigger points in my neck and shoulders and worked on them in such a slow methodical way that I could feel the improvements immediately. She's the best massage therapist I have found thus far, so I will be returning to Shannon very soon.

I've worked with Mario since Jan 2011 and have received both massages and Bowenwork from him. For massage, Mario has the strength and knowledge to provide a deep, satisfying massage. He has many tools to enhance his service - like heated rocks, paraffin dips, tuning forks, knowledge of trigger points and and uncanny intuition of the true origins of my pain. After several massages, I tried Bowenwork with Mario. I trusted his work to explore a healing method I had never heard of. A-maze-ing! Bowenwork itself is subtle and profound. Mario's knowledge is extensive and personal; he knows a specific treatment for every trouble I have. For decades, I've clenched my jaw; nothing has relieved the tension even for a short time. After the first session, my jaw stayed relaxed and pain-free for weeks. Since then, I've challenged Mario with my chronic tendinitis, lower back pain, and an extensive work-related injury involving my shoulders, upper back, and neck. The results are profound. No other treatment has come close to the results I've seen in decreased pain and increased mobility. While Bowenwork is a significant factor in these results, Mario's style and knowledge are equally important. I've already mentioned he knows a technique for any injury or pain; but he also understands the importance of the body integrating the work. He knows that too much change can traumatize the body. Furthermore, he always has food or water, a blanket, or just a quiet space to ease the transition from the therapy table back to the "real world." Above and beyond this, Mario also directs his attention to my health and emotional state, climate and seasonal factors, and other personal concerns. Mario is a healer of the highest level. I've encouraged friends and family of all body and personality types to make an appointment with Mario and I hope the readers of this testimonial will also.

Talor is one of those therapists who's been naturally gifted with massage abilities long before his training and licensure. His knowledge of the body from his personal training background has given him an even greater advantage over most LMTs who don't fully understand the complaints of fit and active people. I've been doing massage for over 9 years now and I trust very few LMTs to look after my patients in my absence, and Talor is one of them. As a result, I've invited him to share a space at our clinic, RiverEast Acupuncture. Don't underestimate this man's new licensure - he's highly qualified and I recommend him for anyone with trigger points and structural imbalances; especially athletes in training could really benefit from his work.

Unlike many, if not most, Oregon Licensed Masseurs, Rob's skill is backed up by 2 years of University level studies of Exercise Science, followed by a Diploma at the New School for Massage in Chicago. So, he not only knows Anatomy but understands (and knows the limits) of applying various therapeutic massage techniques to achieve his Client's goals. For stress management clients (me), he was very adept at locating 'trigger' points that, when manipulated, served to release accumulated stress. I haven't slept better than I did after our very first appointment. I've already scheduled a repeat visit. Highly recommended.
