When we were looking for a band to play our wedding reception we knew they needed to be fun, entertaining, and able to rock the house.
We found Sugar Mama through their affiliate band, Dive Bar Theology (they play covers of covers, aka Duvets). Dive Bar is awesome, and when we inquired about them possibly playing for our wedding reception, they told us about Sugar Mama...their top hits/dance band.
Katie, their manager, was quick to respond to all our questions and extremely easy to work with. They let us use a sound system and mic for the ceremony and then played a 2 hour set list for the reception. Honestly, this band is truly fantastic! They brought an awesome energy to the evening and played everything from 70s hits to modern dance songs. On top of that, Jordan, the lead singer, helped MC through the evening by announcing dinner tables and speeches (we hadn't even talked about this and he just stepped up to help out).
Overall, we were really happy with everything and would highly recommend hiring Sugar Mama for an entertaining party!
