Molly was very fun to work with on my son's senior photos! She immediately put my son at ease and had both of us laughing and enjoying the session! She had an eye for detail and took a variety of very flattering photos of my son. I would highly recommend Molly and Frizz Studios.Jan 19, 2017VerifiedFrizz Studio - Photography & Design's reply
Thank you so much Natasha! You guys were great to work with! Love his images!
Molly at Frizz Studio was absolutely wonderful to work with. Our extended family was vacationing from out of state and we decided to plan a family photoshoot on relatively short notice. Thumbtack helped us connect with Molly. She responded quickly to my quote request and met all of my requirements, and I was able to book the session within hours of my search. Her website and wonderful online galleries, as well as her professionalism when we spoke on the phone, made me confident in my choice and in our plans. Her communication and coordination ahead of the shoot were really helpful in working with the weather forecast and the outdoor nature in our location. She arrived to the shoot early, scouted locations, and made great recommendations for our setups. She worked logically, quickly, and efficiently, but we did not feel rushed or hurried, and she was great at directing our family of 11 to get everyone cooperating and looking great. She was awesome with my little kids (7.5, 5, 2.5), and did a great job including my brother's dog. She was friendly and fun and made the shoot a good time for everyone. The day after our shoot, she emailed over a great selection of previews and I was THRILLED with the way they came out. I've had several professional sessions and am rarely pleased with the way I look in photos, and I was so happy with the way Molly captured our family. We look natural, candid, and happy, and she really took advantage of the natural beauty of our vacation location. Our whole family loved the photos, and I know we will treasure the photos of the rare time that we all get to spend together, especially with our young kids who grow so fast. I am in love with the individual shots she did of my kids, and the shots of each of them together with me, my husband, and my sister. I am so happy we worked with Molly, I just wish she lived closer to our home town so we could work with her in the future!Apr 17, 2018VerifiedFrizz Studio - Photography & Design's reply
I feel so blessed with such a beautiful review. Thank you Erin (and fam!) and keep me in mind, I do occasionally travel that far up north or need an excuse to do so ;)
After viewing her portfolio, I chose to offer this commercial job solely to Molly. She got back to me quickly with her bid that was an accurate value in comparison to our other shoots. Molly was incredibly professional, responsive, observant and kind. Despite her busy schedule, she always made time for us. This job required unsupervised work from a shot list with our adult male "model" who reported having a great time and was excited to see the photos. Molly represented our university well and clearly had a positive impact. The resulting images show exactly what we wanted—interesting and accurate safety photography with a "stock image" feel. We would definitely hire her again!Jul 5, 2019VerifiedFrizz Studio - Photography & Design's reply
THANK YOU SO MUCH! This was a fun shoot and everyone was so pleasant to work with!
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I try to keep my pricing pretty clear and pretty simple.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When I work with a new prospect I definitely find out through a series of communication, if I am in fact the right person for their needs. I focus on style, needs and timeframe to decide if I should refer someone out or take the job. Most of all, I want people to be with the right photographer for the job at hand. Everyone has a different personality and vision and that is above all, important to me! From there, I move to discuss location, look and booking. Most people book me upon referral and seeing my work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been a Graphic Designer for over 12 years (self taught). Both freelance and in the work-world. I decided to expand in to photography after doing a lot of graphic design for photographers. I am completely self-taught and invest myself in learning from top professionals each year. I value the importance of continually learning and expanding my skills.
