- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am able to take ALL major credit cards: Discover, Visa, Master, American Express, JCB, Union Pay and Diners Club International Paid for a minimum of one hour at the hourly rate. PLEASE be ADVISED! When you are picking me for my services you are paying for the quality of the work as a Handyman who can do MOST any project. I will admit my pricing will be much higher than someone who does just drywall or painting alone. That is because they are normally only experienced in one trade where a Handyman like myself is experienced in MANY Trades. My Pricing will vary depending on the type of job! If the work is a Job I know will be finished in one hour then I will provide the customer with a flat rate not to exceed agreed upon price. Customers with bigger jobs taking more than a few hours can be given a reduced rate at my SOLE discretion. Customers who represent small businesses and or any business is subject to $100 an hour rate. This rate applies to Property Management companies, Realtors/inspector recommended repairs for home sales, and in some cases Rental properties. (pricing will still vary) ALL Customers requiring expedited services (scheduled last minute) will be charged an additional $25 added to the hourly rate they fall under. This does not apply if the customer and I are already in negotiations for same day work due to having an opening in availability. DISCOUNTS are for repeat customers ONLY and or at Mechanical Repair Services Sole discretion depending on the situation. NOTE: Please be advised I am NOT a licensed Contractor for the state of Oregon and will NOT exceed any job of more than $1000 at this time. Due to state of Oregon requirements. (MOST jobs will be no where near this amount)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will walk you through the whole process to make sure you get the quality you seek for the prices you are paying. most contractors forget to include the customer in the project and I make it a point to show you step by step what it will take to accomplish your job, even providing alternatives to cut costs where necessary.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an Associates in HVAC-R Technology and a Masters Degree in Business Administration. I have worked with government contractors that provide repairs and overhauls of electrical, mechanical, structural, and piping applications. I am a US NAVY Vet who started out working in HVAC-R and mechanical repair and I wanted to bring that experience to you.
