Working with Teresa is a unique experience. She is very creative about getting fit. Her fitness equipment consists of things you can mostly find in your neighborhood.Her workouts are fun and theraputic in ways (if you need to get out a little aggression, and don't we all). And Teresa is so motivating. You feel you've been working out, believe me. But you enjoy it! I am looking forward to my next session, who knows what she'll bring in her bag of tricks. I especailly appreciate how attentive Teresa is, I'm pretty sure I'm her only client...okay, probably not, but she makes me feel that way. I love working with her. In a one hour session, she manages to get me a thorough cardio and strength training workout and in ways that I can do myself at home.
Travis is a joy to train with. His energy and vitality are contagious, even when he's pushing you past your limits. He helped me lose more than 40 pounds after the birth of my second child, and I am very grateful for such an enjoyable and knowledgeable trainer to help me on that journey. I learned a lot, I laughed a lot, and if we still lived in Clackamas you can bet I'd still be training with Travis.
We first met Melanie when we attended a tour at Town Center Village, a retirement community in Happy Valley, Oregon. She, as a Personal Fitness Director there, got us involved in a Summer Games Fitness program she was conducting at that time, and introduced us to the many fitness activities available to us. I had limited movement in my shoulder, and assessing my problem, Melanie put me on weight resistant machines, water aerobics and exercises to strengthen and tone my body. I have regained my muscle tone, regained full movement of my shoulders, and Melanie has proven that she not only has the experience, training, and ability to help people but most importantly, has truly cared about my health and has proven to be a wonderful friend. I have witnessed her interaction with other residents here and can attest to her quality of work and care in helping the senior generation. The small group training at Workout Anytime in Beaverton is awesome. The trainers are educated, supportive and want to see you reach your goals. Scott has personally changed my life with nutrition counseling, meal planning and fitness. He knows what he is doing and you will see results!
Michael is the best. The HIIT(High Intensity Interval Training) aka Boot Camp is great! It doesn't matter if you are young, or young at heart, he'll go out of his way to keep things fresh and make it fun for everyone. Where ever you may find yourself at within your fitness journey, he'll modify things to suit you. Michael and Nick are the awesome!!
Simply calling Travis a coach is a bit of a disservice. Yes, he is a skilled instructor who ably teaches strokes and strategy to players at every skill level but he does it in a way that is more a kin to a Boy Scout; he is always prepared to give expert advice on the latest equipment, he is patient enough for beginners and skilled enough for advanced players, his multi-media approach helps us analyze professional players- and offers the same technology to analyze our own play, and he makes each lesson as enjoyable as singing songs around a camp fire. Travis has skillfully transformed every aspect of my game from my serve to my doubles strategy and he has virtually eliminated my shoulder and elbow pain through improved stroke mechanics but he has approached this in a way that I look forward to each lesson. If the boy scouts offered a tennis patch he would have two. Thanks Boy Scout.
