Lynnell is a wonderful personal trainer. I wish I still lived in the area, she knows what she is doing and listens to the goals you set for yourself. Lynnell was my first personal trainer and by far the best! Besides helping me reach my specific goals, she helped me believe in myself to the point of going further than I ever thought I would. She is very knowledgeable, supportive, and motivational. I especially appreciate the way she spoke to me about my body and how to perform the exercises, she always made me feel good even when giving critiques. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I’m not the most expensive. My goal is to make training a sustainable and affordable. A gym membership and its fees are not necessary when you train with me. I primarily train clients at a well equipped trainers only gym. I offer a discounted package of 10 sessions.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I offer a complimentary first training session at my gym. We discuss physical limitations, goals, exercise likes/dislikes, previous fitness successes or failures. Then I guide the client through a workout designed to assess weaknesses, strengths, muscular compensations due to injury. We discuss commitment and schedule. I begin my homework designing a workout program for the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have several personal training certifications, and 12 years of training. I’ve taken nutrition classes and continue to research diet, nutrition, and supplementation. Fitness is physical and emotional, so I study the brain habits and motivation as well.
