This catering and event team is very experienced, punctual, professional and provides exceptional value for their fees. I was very lucky to have stumbled across them on the web. They made the entire process of providing a full menu, not to mention the planning, event services and furnishings that they coordinated, for 75 at an outdoor wedding in the end of September. The contingency planning that was done to ensure a seamless event in the face of unpredictable NW weather at that time of year was key to a smooth and completely enjoyable experience for everyone. Carolyn was incredibly helpful helping us prepare for our wedding, working with us to find great vendors and keep us sane along the way of planning the wedding. Over the course of a year or so, she helped keep things organized and moving, and a kick in the pants when we were needing to make decisions. She had great suggestions and was also very responsive to our vision for our wedding - all her suggestions were within the frame we set, and helped us realize our vision better than we could have on our own! On the day of, we worked with Jamie and her assistants, all of who were fantastic. There were no hiccups, and if there were, we weren't aware of it! Jamie was so helpful keeping the day moving, fun, and helping us stay on track, and even saving us a few times from getting trapped in drawn out conversations. She was so on point, and so incredibly nice, nothing but praise for the day of coordination - the wedding day was a dream, and Jamie was so key in making it feel effortless. Thanks for all your fantastic work!
Joslyn is an excellent cook who makes tasty dishes that look delicious even before you taste them. Joslyn is creative and has tons of ideas for menus. I worked with her on a baby shower luncheon and I wtould definitely recommend her business.
Emee and her team are amazing! They are professional, responsive, creative, and wedding life savers! The first thing on the wedding list was to find a coordinator and Emee was the first choice out of 4 interviews and countless reviews of other coordinators. She had a very calm and collected demeanor while also being enthusiastic and provided a lot of ideas that fit within our budget. Emee also acted as a mediator between the differing ideas my husband and I had, in a very compassionate way. We really wanted a coordinator that would take care of the craziness that can happen behind the scenes so that my husband and I, as well as our family members, wouldn't have to worry about it. Intuitively, I knew there were things that Emee was probably saving from fires that I didn't have to deal with, and that was a God send. She even moved twinkle lights from another area to cover a window and it became a very cute back drop. It was obvious that she has a lot of experiences with planning events and is able to think outside of the box and be quick in action. She really worked with our budget and helped to create something that was unique to us. A lot of the vendors we used were through her suggestions and those turned out fantastic as well. We are overwhelmed with joy at how amazing our wedding turned out and reflected us as a couple, and Emee and her team were key components to making that possible.
J29 events was a lifesaver the month of my wedding! As someone planning my wedding in Portland (living in Seattle) their local experience was helpful. Their experience with weddings led to great recommendations for how to work with vendors, plan the full day and make vendor recommendations when needed. Nicole was wonderful on site, and she went above and beyond to make sure the night went smoothly; all the way down to moving her hours around to ensure my rental items were returned in great shape. I rated 4 not 5 only because in months leading to the wedding, I had to follow up on my sent emails a few times to get responses. Actual execution was flawless. Thank you!!
She brought the decorations for my friend's baby shower. They were quick to set up and tear down, she was very considerate not to put holes in my wall or chip paint off the wall. The decor was very high quality and my friend was able to keep it to decorate her baby's room! She made the whole room feel colorful and magical. I could not recommend her more highly.
Bella Vita ended up canceling their services for insurance reasons. They gave me several months notice which is nice and referred me to another bartender. Just worrisome because my wedding is on a busy weekend.

It was for my baby shower. She went above and beyond. I was able to use some of the decorations from the party for my son's bedroom and able to reuse some other items. It was themed, there were projects for the guests to participate in, and great food spread.
We loved Jaimee! We went to her for guidance and help for our last month before our wedding. We had reached the tipping point of stress and time available to go it on our own. Jaimee had us feeling relief from our first meeting. She took on our wedding planning with joy and commitment that made everyone involved feel great - us, our families, and our vendors. On Christmas Day 1998, my husband proposed to me! I was thrilled beyond imagination.... then reality struck! My husband had never been married (we were both in our forty's) and wanted to have the BIG Church wedding, with a guest list of 400+ and he wanted to do it April 4th! I was completely lost and overwhelmed with the planning! Then we were invited to a Valentine Day party at a friends home.....when we walked into their home I was completely transfixed by the beautiful and unique flower displays, table scapes, and candle displays that turned their home into one of the most beautiful and romantic spaces I had ever seen. The next day I called Marianna Love from Absolutely Beautiful who had been responsible for my friends homes Valentine transformation. I met with Marianna that week and we discussed my dilemma... A wedding that was just a few weeks away, and my desperation in getting it all pulled together. There are no words to fully express my appreciation and gratitude to Marianna! With little clear direction from the frazzled bride to be, Marianna put together and executed a plan that to this day people still refer to as the most beautiful wedding they have ever attended. The flowers, the silk draping , the table settings, candle displays and menu to name a few, were all beyond imagination with beauty, romance and originality. Marianna transformed the church and the reception venue into an unimaginable place of pure bliss. Guests described it as a "very swish affair"....."something out of a magazine"...."looks like a made for TV wedding straight from Hollywood." All of the ideas were the product of Marianna's imagination and incredible talent and she executed her plan flawlessly! Over the years Marianna has planned and executed Christmas parties including decorating our home and has continued to prove herself over and over again as one of the most creative and original party planners I've ever encountered. She's not only a tremendously talented woman, she is great fun! One of the nicest people I know!
Shoshana really did an amazing job coordinating my baby shower. The buffet was full with tons of delicious food, there were several games and activities including a photo booth and baby onesie decoration station, and the decorations were top notch! Most importantly, me and all of my guests had so much fun! I would definitely hire Shoshana again for an upcoming event. Thank you, Shoshana!

There is a time in a woman's life that is the most important day she will experience. A time that she daydreams of her entire life. On September 6th, 2015 Amanda and I both had the most important day of our lives! But every bride knows that it is a whirlwind to actually get to the day of the wedding with all the planning, collecting, and projects it takes to actually pull of the day. Six months before our wedding a perfect gem came into our lives offering to be a day of coordinator for our wedding for learning experience to build her business in the best way possible. Of course we jumped on the offer and met with Vanessa the next week. We had an instant connection with Vanessa and right away she became family to us. She expressed to us right away what she was going to do for us and we all started to plan that night. The first thing that caught my attention was her immediate organizational skills. She wrote down everything we talked about right away and threw in amazing ideas. When Vanessa left that first night Amanda and I felt like we struck gold! As weeks went on Vanessa kept in close contact with us, always asking how we were doing and asking what she could do to help us. Vanessa came out to our house to work on projects with us, to continue planning, and to figure out our venue prospects. When we finally decided on a venue Vanessa was right by our side meeting with the venue managers and coordinators. She asked every question that we didn't think of and she made sure that we got the best deal possible. As the day came closer Vanessa was a constant support system for us and kept us cool and collected as the stress of a wedding came closer. As most wedding do we had a few hiccups with our venue and Vanessa took charge and fixed all the little speed bumps that came our way. At our rehearsal Vanessa came ready to shine with her impeccable organization. She knew what she was doing and kept explaining how the day was going to go to our wedding party. When we left that day we knew exactly how to walk down the isle, where to stand, how to walk out, and had a plan how the rest of the wedding would go. Needless to say we all felt comfortable and ready for the actual event. Of course when Amanda and I went to bed that night we were so ready for our beautiful outdoor dreamy wedding. When we woke up the next morning it was down pouring. As a bride panic set in knowing that our outdoor wedding could become disastrous. Not even a minute later I got a call from Vanessa calming my nervous and telling me she has a plan. Instantly I knew the day was would be perfect. When my side of the bridal party and I showed up to help set up there were beautiful white tents up to cover our guests and us during the wedding. Vanessa made magic happen to make sure our day went perfect. She directed everyone what still needed to be done and we got all decorations and tables set up in a fashionable time! When we all went to take pictures Vanessa stayed and continued to make our venue perfect. When we arrived it was like a fairytale, she put her beautiful touches on everything. When the wedding started she gathered the wedding party and since it was raining we had to change quickly where we were going to stand and Vanessa took charge and quickly made a decision for us. As we started walking down the isle the rain stopped and the sun came out and all I could do is smile because I knew Vanessa must have pulled some strings with the rain Gods because only she could pull off something like that! Needless to say the wedding went perfectly and the reason I know that is because Vanessa was running her butt off to make sure very thing was perfect and even if there problems she didn't let us know about any of them she just took care of it herself. As the night came to an end and we were getting ready for our exit and Vanessa was still in great spirits and ready to make sure the last few minutes were perfect!! As we got into our truck and drove away we noticed that Vanessa had placed all of our gifts and cards into our truck for us to enjoy that night! Vanessa stayed and cleaned the venue and that night dropped off all of our decor and supplies to our house so that we didn't have to worry about anything. Our over all experience with Vanessa was beyond amazing. Not only was she our day of wedding coordinator but now she is and will forever be Auntie Vanessa to our sweet babies!! If you are looking for a dedicated, organized, passionate, loving, creative day of coordinator for your wedding Vanessa Humphrey is the woman for you. She will blow your exceptions out of this world! Vanessa thank you so much for your support and love for weddings because we wouldn't have been able to do half of what we did without you!! We love you to the moon and back!!

My wife should be writing this review, but I want to take a moment to tell you what a great job Lisa (my wife) and Soleil Bliss Event Productions did for us. We had been planning our wedding for about 13 months and from the very beginning my wife knew she wanted a planner. Liz drove from Vancouver, WA to Seattle to meet with us as purely a consultation. Our first impression of Liz was here is a woman who knows how a wedding should be done. Within five minutes we knew we had found our planner. As my wife's vision of the wedding changed over the 13 months Liz was there every step of the way to help with any problems or offer solutions on how to make her plans become reality. The amount of stress that Liz took off my wife's shoulders as our special day drew near was astounding. On the day of our wedding Liz was able to fix a major dress malfunction, whip out two corsages for my wife's mother and my mother, coordinate a less than accommodating venue staff in reference to their idea of decorating, and all this was done after she had stayed up until close to 2 AM to decorate our ceremony and reception areas. Liz took a great event, location, setting, and environment and transformed it into something completely phenomenal. Our expectations were so far exceeded that we could not believe what she had created was our wedding. Thank you so very much Liz. I can't urge anybody reading this enough to talk with Liz and let her plan and coordinate your wedding. You will not regret a single moment nor worry in the slightest that your event will be anything less than extraordinary.
Andrea not only helped plan my wedding, but she helped with the reception area set up and last minute things that came up when I didn't have enough people covering set up before the wedding. She was wonderful in helping me have a wonderful day and to be able to enjoy it when the day was there. She helped me with keeping things within my budget and did a lot of looking for venues and linins and things like that.
Pierre took care of our kitty while we were on a two week vacation this summer. She needed lots of special care because she had had a stroke shortly before we left. Pierre gave her lots of loving and kept careful notes on how she was doing, and made sure she received her medicine. We couldn't have asked for a more caring person to take care of our pet. He also took care of our mail, kept our house in good shape, and watered our garden. I would recommend Pierre to anyone who is looking for help with pet care or house sitting. He is also a fantastic cook!
Posh Events planned a baby shower with a vintage theme. Amanda did a great job with styling the event, providing some furniture and decorations, and staging some gorgeous lounge areas. Thoroughly enjoyed!
While I haven't had Angel plan an event for me yet, I can attest that no one will work harder to be sure your event is a success. You have never met a woman with more energy than Angel!
Geniece did an incredible job planning my baby shower. She did everything from sending out invitations to finding and decorating the perfect space to match my nursery theme. Geniece really listened to my likes and dislikes and created an event that I will never forget. Every detail was perfect down to the kind of food she coordinated and the napkins we used! She was professional, resourceful and a joy to work with. This was a stressful (and joyful) time in our lives and Geniece created a special day that made me feel so spoiled. I cannot wait for the next big event in my life, Geniece will most definitely be an important part of the celebration!
