Counseling goals
Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Have you lost interest in the things you used to enjoy? Do you feel you've lost your energy or "spark"? Do you and your partner feel more like roommates than lovers? Are you concerned about your child's behavior? It is not easy to balance the emotional pressure of life's challenges with daily demands. Often, people feel defined by their struggles and lose sight of themselves within. It is important to take the time to check-in with yourself--to get back to you. From a place of self-care and understanding, great work can be done. Today is a good day to start feeling better. Call me, tell me what I can do for you and we'll go from there. I serve individuals, couples, families and children with a fully equipped Play-Therapy room. Offering affordable mental health care to the community is important to me. I have a sliding-fee scale to fit most budgets. Knowing your comfort level is key to this process, I am also happy to offer a free consultation as well.

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I don't need to tell you that this is a big decision. Something has brought you to do this search--today... right now. A crucial ingredient in any type of counseling is the "fit" between you and your counselor. I strongly suggest speaking with several counselors and utilizing the free consultations that are offered, so that you may judge your level of comfort with each. Often, those consultations are brief, so have your questions written down in advance. Determine what is important to you. Is it personality? Authenticity? Location? Expertise? Many people report to me that they "know when they know". Whatever it may be to you, remember the importance of your comfort. A strong, safe therapeutic relationship is the context in which healing can occur.
