We really enjoyed our 3 dance lessons with Julieann. She was very patient with us as we had never taken this sort of class before. It was all new to us. We would go away each time with several new dance moves and couldn’t wait for our next lesson. Julieann was very energetic, knowledgeable, and upbeat. We look forward to continue lessons with her.

Jennifer and her staff were amazing. They really made my party so exciting and fun. Jennifer kept the energy level up the whole night and was so much fun to work with. I highly recommend her for any party you have where you need a professional dancer. Mine was for a luau, Tahitian dancing and she was awesome, even did a fire dance. Her crew socialized with my guests and everything couldn't have gone any better. Thanks Jennifer for a great time and wonderful entertainment!

Our passion for dance lead us to try salsa. Now, almost ten months into our private lessons, we continue to grow, learn and love salsa. It has become the highlight of our week. Erik and Catherine are fantastic teachers- both attentive, professional and fun. Their love for salsa and dance comes through in the way they teach. They are knowledgeable, patient and work with your skill level to get you to the next step (pun intended). If you have been thinking about taking lessons- look no more, Salsa Con Coco is the best of the best and it is worth your investment!

    About

My focus although founded in classic and traditional techniques is interdisciplinary in nature through and through. The early beginnings from childhood of a career in performing arts has helped me grow a well rounded palette of voice, theater and dance. Watching the light bulb of confidence go on for someone who didn't know they had the power all along and nailed it.

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

How much do dance lessons cost?

Adults who want to learn to dance, whether to prepare for a wedding or to meet new people, often enjoy taking dance lessons from an experienced dance instructor. Instructors may offer classes one-on-one to individual students or couples, or to small groups. The national average cost for a dance instructor ranges from $30 to $50. Some studios offer a discounted introductory lessons or group lessons, as well as package deals that are more affordable than paying for individual lessons. Some dance instructors will travel to the student’s home, which usually costs more, while others hold small-group sessions in their studios.
