- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I created Bad Dog U for 3 reasons: 1. As we created dogs for our own self interests, their well-being is now our responsibility. Unfortunately most dog owners aren't well versed in animal behavior, psychology, and the like to properly care for the needs of a pack animal, (that's where I come in) 2. I have a good grasp of animal behavior, psychology, and other sciences, 3. as well as a natural ability with animals.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Know what type of K-9 Professional you are looking for. When it comes to basic commands, Sit and Stay, and cool tricks, a normal Dog Trainer with food, click, or whistle training might be a good fit, Adversely, if constant barking, chewing, jumping on people, herding, growling, aggression, or even biting are the issue, then something more is needed. That's were I come in, as a K-9 Psychologist and behavioral specialist, AKA Dog Whisperer, I can teach you how to communicate with your dog/s in a way that they can understand, as well as the do's and don'ts of animal behavior, living with pack animals, and much more.
