Introduction: The way I stand out from the rest is I can be very informative sometimes even teach customers how to fix the issue or how to prevent from further damage to the appliance. Every place I have worked for said that I give to much info or walk them through a simple issue over the phone. They seen it as a money loss when truly it was a gain. Every person I have done this for has been a return customer or has even followed me to other places I have worked. When the customer trusts the technician and knows the job is getting done right then that is what truly matters most. I like to solve issues for people and walk away knowing I did a quality job and the customer is satisfied. I absolutely love new technology and find it fascinating how repairs are done and there's always new ways of getting it solved faster and better than the other guy. I enjoy explaining how things work and why the issue happens and how to prevent future issues. I also enjoy training new technicians and knowing they are carrying my experience to new levels and making people everywhere happy.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm always involved in training seminars with all the major brands of appliances. I'm actually trained on appliances that haven't hit the market yet. The reason for this is so when they do we can handle the issues they train us for and take care of new issues always informing them on how to fix the issues so they can go back and make a correction part.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved working with my hands and always have been very mechanicly inclined. I started delivering and installation. I wanted more out of it so I started working at a small appliance store in cottage grove Oregon. They taught me everything and I caught on quick. After 10+ years of learning new appliances and how to 's I became a trainer that has trained some of the best out there. I take pride in my line of work and love every job I complete.
What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common repairs would have to be whirlpool and Kenmore top loaders with a direct drive system that they have used for many years. They have a coupler that usually breaks after 7 to 10 years of use. Or usually on dryers the most common issue is after so many years of use it slowly takes longer and longer to dry a load of clothes. The blower housing always builds up lint restricting the airflow preventing the moister from escaping the dryer.usually just needs cleaned out as well as the ducting serviced with it.
