Clearly by the number of outstanding reviews here, Erika and her husband are in big demand as house cleaners. Well...they do a great job. They have all their own equipment and cleaning products which is safe and they team up to make my house shine. I am a fairly neat person, but I thought the time had come for me to have professionals help out once a month with the heavy cleaning. Erika has proven to be the right person for this work. My bathrooms (3) shine. My well-used kitchen gets thoroughly cleaned and polished. Erika chases away all the dust bunnies, vacuums, dusts the contents of my home with care. My stairwell carpeting gets a thorough cleaning, a chore I used to dread, schlepping the vacuum up and down the stairs. My baseboards haven't looked this clean in ages, and they really go after the pet hair from my dog and cat. J&E Shine charges very fair rates, and offers lots of other services, such as window washing, closet organization, and other specific chores for an extra fee. They have come twice now, and we're set up for October already. I give them extra points for flexibility in scheduling. Both of us had to alter our times and I was happy it worked out both ways. J&E Shine will be ly housekeeping partner in the future.
I needed to have the chain on my chandlier lengthened and got an immediate response from Emmanuel. Great price to do this as well. We arranged a time that he could over to do this, and in the meantime I discovered that my toilet was leaking around the base and I also need to have a shower curtain rod installed. Again, Emmanuel responded back to me within 10 minutes to let me know he could take care of these additional tasks. He arrived on time, and immediately got to work on lengthening the chain on my chandlier. He diagnosed the cause of the leak in my toilet quickly. We ended up having to remove it from the floor and he was nice enough to run over to Home Depot to get the part and he re-installed and caulked within 30 minutes time. After I had paid him, I was telling him about some other things that needed to be done next time, in particular, I had a door that would not stay shut. When I showed him the door, he took one look and said he could fix it right now. He cut into the area where the door's strike plate is , screwed in the strike plate, and , done. Door shut perfectly. Emmanuel knows what he is doing , is able to diagnose problems quickly, and come up with the solution. He is quick, but does quality work. I feel confident in recommending his services, and will definitely be calling upon him again.
I really enjoyed working with Sarah at Revivify. I had basement storage that was just too much to organize for one person with small children. i needed someone to look at it with fresh eyes. Sarah came over to evaluate my situation and we planned on the hours and rate, and what I wanted to accomplish. We also established how we would do it. Upon Sarah's assessment, i bought 4 new plastic bins (Target) based on the size that fit best. Organizing Day: Sarah and Megan came over on time and ready to work. We talked about what they were going to do first and i would be back in a couple of hours. It was busy day for me! Coming back, I saw a lot had been accomplished. Everything had a category and now we could group it together and fit it in. I was available to help out, and Sarah was gracious to let me look over everything and give my input on how i was going to use the storage (and which items i needed to get out frequently and seasonally). We also moved some of the shelving around (fresh eyes!) to accommodate an entire category (the kid clothes!) They were done in 3 hours vs the 6 hour estimate we originally thought. What a save on the budget! Constructive comments: I noticed that there were some holiday items that were not able to be seen way in the back, based on my use of them (before the boxes), I switched those smaller items to the front of the boxes for access and availability. I also thought one of the boxes with kid clothes and shoes was crammed just a little too tight, so i added a thin clear box, that i already had, for the shoes. Didn't know Konmari organizing, Read that book Sarah! :-) Overall: After seeing Sarah's webpage and before/afters, I was interested in working with her. Upon our meeting, I noticed that being on time was important to her (me too), and she was ready to work. She listened to my goals for the space and offered solutions that were unique and flexible.
Nathalie helped me organize and beautify my craft room. She went above and beyond to help me get everything just right. She is great at helping to purge the "stuff" we tend to hang on to, the junk that no longer serves a purpose. Nathalie went out of her way to go shopping with me, at several different stores, to help me find just the right organization accessories. She is a great listener and wants nothing more than to make sure your space is arranged in a way that suits your specific needs and aesthetic. Nathalie is very professional but also very personable and friendly. She was always on time and efficient (and I live out in rural Clark County). The job was done in just a few days! I truthfully can't think of anything she could do to improve! I just noticed that you can review the services that you receive. I would have left a really positive message a long time ago if I noticed. Casi has been so great to have as our petsitter. We have 3 dogs, 1 cat, 1 tortoise, and multiple fish. We moved away from family, for work purposes... But that means we have no pet sitters. We have been very skeptical to leave our furry babies. We were contacted by Casi through Thumbtack and have been so happy with her. Her prices are great. She is great with our animals, btw did I mention we have a great dane? It takes a special person to not be scared to care for a big love like our Emmy :) Thx Casi for all you do for our family. We are finally comfortable going on weekend trips or vacations, trusting that our fur babies are safe and with you! I would recommend Casi to EVERYONE. As I already do now.
Pauline took care of my house and my dog while I was away on vacation. She walked my dog and kept me updated with messages and photos. She took excellent care of my house. It was spotless and organized when I returned. I will definitely use her services again.

I hired Jan to organize my files of my computer. Years of files with no organization were beginning to hinder my access to them and my efficiency on my job. Jan was not overwhelmed by the daunting task and patiently went through my files, renaming them so they would be easier to search, and putting them in appropriate files. The end product amazed me. Now all those years of hard work would be available to me! Jan also coached me on storing files and using online-based software so I will be able to keep my computer organized. I love what Jan did and would recommend her highly to anyone needing to overhaul their computer!!

Working with Tamauflage was a great experience. She had fantastic ideas how to improve the interior of my house and make it ready to sell. She worked meticulously, cleaned up everything once she was done and got the job done within the agreed upon time frame. Last year I moved to Kansas City and found my dream apartment. Not being so great at decorating, AJ was able to assist me in picking furniture, organizing, and making sure my space was beautiful, all through the phone. It was so lovely working with Therese! She was thorough and thoughtful as she considered our kitchen ahead of time. Her communication was timely and I felt that she was reliable even before meeting her. The day of the "tidy" and "re-organization" she was prepared and ready to go. She knew exactly what steps to take and her approach and mindset put me at ease in light of such a daunting task. Wow. Autumn Rose is a real find. I'm in my late 50s and became a widower 2 years ago. When I started working with Autumn a year ago, I was burdened by the physical and emotional weight of so much stuff. I wanted to get down to things that were just mine, rather than the accumulated detritus of my parents, kids, brother and late wife. Autumn helped me identify strategies for organizing the things I wanted to keep and helped me sell or get rid of the rest. These strategies were an excellent balance of the emotional and practical.
