I have studied and continue to study multiple schools of yoga including hatha, vinyasa,& Yin. Continuing my study of ancient texts (i.e. the vedas, Bhagavad Gita, Tao Te Ching etc.) I am on the search for ancient wisdom to help gain practical knowledge of the mind body connection and apply it to my own experience. I hope students will benefit from this style of learning and application. Classes can be gentle, moderate, or advanced depending on what the body needs. I generally would like to see a student for at least a week so that we can work together to find the right program for their body. I will give each student a set of asana and if the student desires I will create a video for them.

My class is called Nectar of Bliss Flow. This class begins with a short time for a grounding meditation and a few minutes of pranayama to clear the subconscious and the subtle body to calm the mind. One of the focuses is resetting the central nervous system through flexibility in the spine to regain access to our true, authentic self and personal power. We will focus on the heart center and opening the body to the nectar of bliss with a medium-paced flow, sometimes stopping to go deeper into proper alignment so that students may better experience the flow of prana throughout the body. This class is very life-affirming with beautiful music and a weaving throughout of ayurvedic and essential oil knowledge as well as Sanskrit and yoga philosophy. This class encourages yoga as a lifestyle and inspires students to become self-empowered through this practice. We will end with sound healing from chimes and singing bowls to integrate the practice and sustain higher levels of vibration. This class is open to all levels.
