My 10 year old son started taking piano lessons with Deanna Maio at Confident Voice Studios a couple of months ago, and she has done a terrific job connecting with him and helping him advance his piano practice. We highly recommend Deanna!

When we arrived for the initial consultation for singing lessons and my daughter saw the piano, she asked if she could take piano lessons first. So, we're now taking piano lessons from Bonnie. I find her to work very well with kids, my daughter is 8, and my daughter likes her and is happy too. She explains things clearly, gives praise when earned, and is helpful and pleasant to work with.

She is very patient; my daughter loves having her as a piano teacher. It is very convenient to have her come to the house for a reasonable fee. She is prompt and flexible, and easy to get ahold of. I can't wait for my son to start lessons with her. We are also looking forward to the new studio in the works.

My five-year-old eagerly waits for her lesson time so she can see Johana and find out what she gets to learn that day. Johana keeps the music learning fun with lots of hands-on music games. She gets down on the floor with my five-year-old to play these games and she handles my daughter's wiggles wonderfully. In a matter of a few months my daughter can already read the notes on the staff and play several songs. I'm so glad to have found a teacher like Johana to make learning the piano a positive experience for my daughter and would highly recommend her to others!

We've had a couple lessons with Michael so far and he's the third teacher that my 12 year old son has had over the past 3 years. My son declared that he's "learned the most so far" with Michael and today after school my son asked if he'd get a chance to work with Michael before auditioning for middle school jazz band... He wants Michael's guidance on practicing the piece. We love that Michael will travel to our house and he's timely in his communication and alway arrives on time.

I'm providing music lessons to experienced and interested candidates. I specialize in flute and music theory with a master degree in music from New England Conservatory. I teach flute and piano for students of all ages from 3 to 60 years old. Currently, I am a director of a music program in North Portland and am very passionate about music education. I'm still an active performer and would also like to expand my teachings outside of the classroom. I've been able to expand my creativity in music to other areas, such as baking and cake decorating. I've started a business called 'Key of Cakes, Home of the Treble Bakers,' and we cater to all events and offer package deals for beautiful cakes and music chamber ensembles to match the needs of the hosts.
