FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Services are provided at a flat service fee or rate and include round-trip travel within 30-minutes of estimated 1-way travel. We charge a flat service fee for standard services such as repair, virus removal, data-recovery, or migrating computers. We charge a flat service rate for dynamic services such as home networking installation, 1-on-1 tutoring sessions, and configuration of email clients or other 3rd-party software. Any fee is transparently stated in advanced and is not tacked onto labor costs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we take the time to prioritize your needs, dedicating our focus towards reaching a mutual understanding of any presented problem. A firm service fee or rate is then established prior to any service we provide. Our services are provided following the "DIRT-Simple" approach: 1. Diagnostic: We critically assess your needs by constructing a thorough plan around what we observe during our testing process. 2. Interaction: We educate you on our findings and potential fixes, putting you at the head of informed decisions. 3. Resolution: With your executive directive, we implement the best resolution for your needs leaving no surprises. 4. Training: We follow-up with guidance on proper preventative care, maintenance routines, and tips on enhancing your cyber-security. Simple!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
"Am I at immediate risk?" If your computer cursor is moving by itself, or you suspect your computer has been compromised, turn your device off immediately and seek a professional. Continuing to use a compromised device can escalate the damage. "Can I get a free consultation?" Yes. You will know what to expect before committing to a service through us, including estimated cost of parts if they are necessary. Transparent pricing is key to establishing trust, as the cost of projects can vary.
