- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is flexible - I can work with you on an hourly basis or fixed rate depending on the type of services you need and your budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, we begin with initial complimentary consult, either in person or over the phone, so I can understand the needs, visions, and goals of the event, and to see if we are a good fit for each other. It’s always awesome to hear about people’s ideas and I’m happy offer what advice I can during that time, even if I don’t end up the right fit for you. I use a collaborative cloud-based event planning program that is custom for each event that gives you access to everything in the planning process. In our first meeting we will go over everything and create a timeline and task list unique to your event, and then move on from there!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have nearly 20 years of planning events as a catering and venue coordinator, non-profit development director, corporate marketing director, and event design consultant. I've worked with cities on street festivals, government agencies on training conferences, and with high-profile clients on exclusive VIP events. As a wedding planner, I started with friends and it grew from there. A partial client list is available on my website. Plus, I love any excuse for a party and throw events for myself and my friends all year long!
