Stumptown DJs and DJ Drew were better than we could have imagined. Professional, skilled and patient are just a few words to describe our experience with DJ Drew. Our event was a bit of a hodgepodge of random announcements, raffles, and demos, and throughout Drew ran the show like we practiced it all beforehand. The music selection was perfect, and I could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you, Stumptown and DJ Drew!Mar 29, 2018
Stumptown as been great two years in a row! Great DJ for our corporate office open house event. Dennis changed the type of music throughout the evening based on the crowd and it was just the perfect mix to loosen up a corporate crowd. We will definitely use them again!Nov 18, 2016
We had the 50's Sock Hop Dance at the JW Middle School and the DJ Yuseff was great. He mixed songs from 50's era with current ones, making the kids dance the whole night. DJ Yuseff was very polite, handsome and came dressed up for the school party according to the 50's era theme. The whole process of booking the DJ was very easy and professional. We were very pleased with the final results. I totally recommend their services.Mar 23, 2018
Tatiana at Stumptown did a great job at our event/fundraiser. She was our DJ and did some announcements for us. Ahead of the event, we had a pre-event meeting where she was prepared with questions she had about the event and portions of the announcements. I appreciated how prepared she was! I would use her again and recommend her to others.Oct 19, 2017
Katie at Stumptown DJ's was amazing! She was friendly, flexible and professional. She helped set the tone for our party and people enjoyed and danced to the music that was being played throughout the entire time of the party! I would definitely request Katie again for our next party! Thank you Katie for helping to make our party a success!Sep 4, 2017

- What types of customers have you worked with?In the summer, we usually are DJing weddings. We also have a fair amount of family reunion parties, birthday parties and graduation parties too. In the fall, we DJ a lot of house parties, and in the winter tend to do a lot of corporate holiday parties. The spring tends to be our downtime in terms of actual events, however it is the time of year that involves the most planning and booking for the summer months.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Make sure your personalities match up and you are very clear with what you want at your event. Also make sure you DJ is familiar with the type of music you want to hear. Some DJs don't know when to retire. Finally, many DJs don't like to MC, and if you are looking for an MC as well make sure you tell them so.
