Introduction: I've been DJing for 11 years now and my policy has been that I won't take your money if you're not completely satisfied. In 11 years, No other DJ in Portland offers that same promise. We include additional services like uplighting and custom monogram at no extra cost. When you compare our pricing to other DJs with similar service, we're usually about half the cost of the other guy. I DJ because I love being around parties and happy couples. It's the most enjoyable job in the world. Where else do you get paid to eat cake?? :)

As a weddings and events coordinator, having faith in the vendors you recommend to your brides and clients is HUGE. Craig was one of the few names that I consistently recommended to anyone who was in search of a great DJ for their event, whether it be for a wedding or other special occasion or event. He is easy to work with, delivers a great product, and really puts the client first. His song selections were always some of my favorites. I'd find myself secretly Shazaming songs when I could sneak it in. I love that he made each event original and didn't just throw on a predictable playlist that guests hear at every other event they attend. He really keeps the atmosphere vibrant and exciting so you can sit back and actually enjoy your event vs worrying about if everyone is having a good time. I couldn't recommended a better choice for your DJing needs. Craig is one of the best out there!

Craig turned our reception into a full-blown dance party! He has awesome taste in music and offered many helpful suggestions as well as played everything that we requested. His equipment is state of the art and sounds great. I would highly recommend him. He was so easy to work with and professional.

Craig is fantastic! My first experience with him as a DJ was at my 16th birthday party. It was by far the best Sweet 16 out of all my friends! Four years later he DJ'ed at my wedding. I couldn't have been happier with him! There was nonstop dancing at both events, and Craig knows exactly what kind of music to play to make people have a good time. He has a great music selection, and at the wedding he did a great job of letting people know when different events were going on such as throwing the bouquet and cutting the cake and had the perfect music playing to go along with all of it. You will never be disappointed with Craig as your DJ.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes! Our weddings start at $800 (November-March) and $1000 (April-October) for 4 hours. Additional hours are $100 each. Our dates typically book 10-12 months in advance. Our flat rate pricing includes all services: -Ceremony Sound Support w/ up to 2 Wireless Microphones -Intelligent Dance Floor Lighting that chases the music. -Fog (if wanted) to enhance the dance floor lighting -Atmospheric uplighting (Up to 16 Lights) -1080p Projector w/ Portable 72 Screen -Custom Monogram
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to meet once in person to give you a chance to meet your DJ and make sure the personality is a match. We'll go over general timelines and music during that initial meeting and then the rest of the planning can usually be done via our custom planning documents provided over email once the deposit has been paid.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I subscribe to various podcasts and YouTube channels for professional DJs in order to stay in tune with the latest trends in weddings, parties, and mixing styles. I'm also an avid Spotify/Pandora/iTunes Radio junkie. I'm constantly on the lookout for good new music.
