FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My basic pricing system is simple. I charge by the hour but I have a minimum for the first hour to cover truck and travel costs. I do not have an elaborate system of fuel, milage, or other surcharges. I only ask the customer to pay for their materials in which I usually always can buy up front and disposal fees of larger items if we can take them. I have a house flipping and renovating background so I understand how to save money, find solutions, and make things work when possible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New customers are the greatest. They give me the opportunity to meet and hopefully make new connections with great people. As a new customer you must feel like I have your best interest in mind. It is my responsibility to provide or recommend only the services the customer needs, not push non-essential services just to increase a bill. I do, however, look for safety concerns or things that might be an easy fix while I'm there, like a door that doesn't close quite right. I believe this shows my devotion to my customer service and safety. I enjoy providing a new customer with quality service and making sure they are comfortable enough to ask me back.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
20+ years of having to do it myself and figure it out, but more importantly, pay attention when someone shows you. It helps when you enjoy the learning process. I like to live by "work smarter not harder."
