Introduction: Hi I'm Ali a Portland based Wedding and Elopement Photographer. Ready to travel anywhere your love story takes us. I've shot over 65 weddings and elopements over the past five years domestically and abroad and it's given me behind-the-scenes access to how weddings work and what makes them run smoothly.
I take a candid story telling approach to my photos. I want to get to know you and tell your story in a way that's unique to you.
As much as I love capturing emotion, I also tend to geek out on the technical aspects behind creating beautiful imagery, like working with light and how to capture not just my couples but also showcase the landscape they’re in.

Ali is a phenomenal photographer and was such a blessing to have at our engagement shoot and wedding. Ali is wonderful!! She is so great to coordinate with. Her photos are beautiful. She was a fantastic addition to our special day. So many of our guests commented on how great she is. She was part of the celebration. Definitely recommend!!

Ali is great and here is why! Our wedding (August 1, 2020) underwent some pretty big changes due to Covid-19: we’d planned on a wedding in a chapel with over 100 people, and ended up getting married with about 10 guests in my parents’ backyard, but partly thanks to Ali, it was no less magical. We also had an engagement session back in March with her on the Oregon coast, and we (and more impressively, my family) were all won over by the photos she captured of us. During the wedding day, she did a great job following the timeline we had talked about, and helping us follow it as well. She even found a place in my parents’ house that I had overlooked that turned out to be a great backdrop for photos. As a bride I felt calmed, rather than stressed by her presence. We got the photos back and they are stunning; everyone was very impressed and even surprised, somehow, that everyone was so “photogenic.” It was a wonderful way to share the experience with those who could not be there, and as a memento for us. I highly recommend hiring Ali for your next photo-worthy event!
