FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
One session is $65 for an hour, and I offer discounts on multiple sessions, so you can do 3 sessions for $180, or 6 sessions for $330. There are also group classes at my studio, Yoga Refuge, which are very affordable: $12 for drop-in classes, and the price goes down from there.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get an overview of the client's goals, as well as their current physical fitness and lifestyle. I develop homework assignments specifically for the client, based on the amount of time they can realistically commit to outside of our sessions together. The assignments might include yoga poses and sequences, meditation/mindfulness practices, breathing practices, or lifestyle suggestions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training Certification from the Movement Center, where I studied the therapeutic application of yoga to individual bodies. I am currently enrolled in an extensive 300-hr Yoga Therapy Training Program with local master teacher, Sarahjoy Marsh. I have also studied with and am deeply influenced by the Iyengar teachers, Todd Jackson and Ada Lusardi.
