Blooms and Rooms PDX

June provided the flowers for my wedding and also the decor for the reception. Everything turned out so beautiful, from my bouquet to the arbor to the centerpieces. June was flexible when I wanted to change the location for her to drop off my flowers and flexible with other changes that we made to the table layout at the reception. She was very professional and timely and definitely has a lot of experience with weddings. A lot of my guests told me how impressed they were with the set up for the reception and how beautiful the arbor was. I would definitely recommend Blooms and Rooms PDX.May 27, 2017Verified
Flowers were beautiful, on time and fitting with the description and instructions that I left. Thank you June!Sep 21, 2016Verified
I had a great experience working with June. She is very responsible, make herself available all the time. I love the decoration for my wedding. Everything was set up the way we have discussed. Highly recommended!!Aug 30, 2016Verified
We picked June from the list of event planners recommended through Thumbtack. Being out of state, we needed June to work with my mother to determine her 90th birthday event wishes. June knew the questions to ask as well as the trade offs so my mother could make the best decisions for her. June also worked closely with me via phone and email on all the details. The event itself went perfectly. We could not have wished for a better event or a better event planner.Jul 15, 2016Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My pricing system is a bit complicated as I do have to take into account the variety of flower (some varieties cost more than others), number of flowers needed for the order, style of arrangements(some are more time-consuming) and number of arrangements and hours of labor involved for the order.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?During our initial connection I have many questions to hear customer's dream which is often bigger than the budget. This time together helps me develop a design concept that satisfies both dream and budget. I then explain saving date with a small deposit, describe my payment plan, and draw up a contract. I set time to visit venue if needed and continue to stay in touch to finalize all details.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Yes, consistent involvement with wedding pros, interaction with training workshops, online resources and latest design style magazines are all a part of my continuing education. I am not in a profession that requires CE, but I want to be sure I see the latest styles and have an understanding of new techniques and I have even created some of my own techniques that I have passed on to others.
