Bass Guitar Lessons
Jesse was such a great teacher! I don’t have much experience with guitar and was quite anxious to dive in but he was really calming, reassuring and patient with my limited skill set-it made for a great learning environment and I’m looking forward to more lessons in the future.Aug 7, 2019VerifiedGuitar Lessons with Jesse Marseille's reply
Jessica, thanks for the review! I thought your point about using practice time as a meditation was great. I’m glad we could find ways to make practice more calming and I hope to see you again soon.
2 months in and wouldn’t trade it for the world. I finally feel like I’m making progress, and these lessons make it easy because Jesse shows students how to track their development.Aug 23, 2019Verified
We feel so lucky to have found Jesse! Our daughter has tried to pick up the guitar several times, with varying success. Over the years she had a few different teachers and played in the school program, but after a few months of lessons with Jesse we all knew we’d be sticking around for the long run. It seems like the teachers that really know there stuff don’t always know how to connect with kids, whereas the ones that are good with kids seem like sometimes the music education is secondary. Jesse does the best of both worlds and we couldn’t be happier! Thanks JesseAug 19, 2019Verified
I’ve already told all of my friends about lessons with Jesse so it was my pleasure to write a review for him here. There’s so much I could say but basically if you just do that first session and you’ll get the picture. Skype makes everything easy, i wouldn’t go back to any other format. There are not a lot of guitar teachers let alone teachers of any kind like Jesse. I showed up two years ago wanting to learn guitar and now I feel like I’ve actually become a musician. It’s better than I ever could have expected and I feel like we are just getting started. Looking forward to meeting any of you in the group class if you come aboard!Aug 23, 2019Verified
I must have tried learning guitar half a dozen times over the last few decades (yes this has taken some time). The main thing that stopped me was wrist pain, and not feeling like I had a real plan to follow. In our intro session Jesse explained some concepts about how to sit and hold the instrument that removed all of the pain from practice within a week. At that point I was sold. Why hadn’t anyone told me this stuff before! I give Jesse my whole hearted recommendation.Aug 23, 2019Verified
