Introduction: Yay! We are back decorating skin again!
Henna art is a beautiful way to decorate your skin for any occasion.
We are back at Portland Saturday Market providing henna on Saturdays only, as the Market has decided to not be open on Sundays at this time.
Please note: We are not doing any face painting this year. What we offer in place of facepaint is fabulous glitter tattoos that will last about 3-5 days and are waterproof immediately. Guests get to choose which design they would like from the myriad of stencils we offer and our new skin-safe body glue even allows us to put a design on the face! They are easy to remove with oil and kids, especially, love them. They even get to choose the color glitter they would like.
Glitter tattoos are perfect for anyone, especially 3 years and up. No smearing. Adults, too! It’s so cute when a girl gets something like a unicorn glitter tattoo and wants Dad to get one too.

Also, we now have a private studio (please call for appointment since we are not always there, and in general, we don't take walk-ins) where we offer consultations for henna and can accommodate up to 3 people at a time. And, we are the vendors for the same face paint cosmetics that the pros use!
Glitter Ruby's is insured, background checked, uses suggested sanitary practices, and keep up on the latest trends by attending conferences all around the country. We never, ever, send out a lesser qualified artist to "cheapen" the quote, nor do we ever use craft paint or acrylic paint to cut corners.
That's why we are the artist of choice for companies such as Horizon Air, Royal Caribbean, Mattel and others as well as many of the local colleges. And with nearly 30 years as a vendor at the Portland Saturday Market we definitely have the friendliest customer service and are always open to chatting with our clients.
