cynthia was a fantastic trainer for our 2 year old labradoodle who had come from an environment of neglect which manifested in very rowdy behavior; he was a thief of anything not nailed down, walked you rather than allowed himself to be walked and did not listen to any commands, although he knew them. after 3 weeks of being boarded and trained by cynthia he came home a completely different dog; he now heels and listens to commands and only steals things if he's bored (he is still a teenager). i highly recommend cynthia for boarding/training, she was gentle but firm w/ our Walden. it was clear she really enjoys what she does.

I feel I need to chime in on Kendra's innate ability with boarding animals. To say Kendra is good with pets is an understatement. Kendra goes the extra mile with each creature she comes in contact with; she has an animal rescue kit in her van just in case she comes across an animal in need! A few summers ago, I had a temporary job take me out of state for a month and couldn't take my cat with me. Frantically, I tried to think of a caregiver who would put up with my temperamental feline friend. My cat is not really a "people cat" and prefers not to be touched by anyone other than me; I was truly panicked about finding a place for her. Somehow my kitty was relaxed and at ease while purring and sitting on Kendra's lap only within a few short minutes of reaching the house (not something I have ever seen). Needless to say, all of my worries were put at ease immediately. If your loved one needs a place to stay, look no further! Kendra's compassion, openness and knowledge of dogs, cats, and other furry or feathered friends will amaze you.

Brenda has been a huge help in training and caring for our new puppy, Cooper. She is a natural with dogs. She really loves them and understands them well which has been a huge help to our family on this new adventure. She not only trains him to be a good dog, she trains us to be good owners. She is flexible, prompt, and great with communication. We would highly recommend her to anyone who is adding a new dog to the family.

Nicole was amazing! We only had a few days with her and she taught us everything she possibly could. She was assertive with our pup and help us do the same. My husband did the sessions with me and while he practiced with our dog, I practiced with Flynn, Nicole's well trained Australian Shepherd. That proved to best way for us to learn as we were both able to be active. Watching her with her dog provided a great example to us if what we were training our dog to do. Nicole was patient and very helpful. He repeated herself often and encouraged us to take notes to ensure that we grasped every concept she taught us. Our 6 month old puppy is doing great! He walks well on a leash and obeys commands like come, sit, down, stay, and heel. We are now practicing of leash training and with Nicole's help he is doing great! I would recommend her to anyone who has adopted a dog of any age.

We love Merrilee and so do all three of our kitties! For the first time EVER, we lefleft town with peace in our hearts knowing that the three fur balls were going to be very well cared for. We have had bad experiences with kennels, friends, and boarding so finding Merrilee was a huge relief. She is such a gem.

Tami is amazing!! She has watched my dogs multiple times, and I wouldn't trust anyone else. Her home is comfortable and very welcoming. My dogs are my children, so I'm extremely picky when it comes to boarding. She welcomed them in as if they were her own. The didn't want to leave when the time came. I highly recommend Sit Stay Here, LLC if you are looking for a safe haven for your babies when you travel!

Charges very reasonable rates. Very knowledgable and seems to have a lot of experience. Gave us very helpful tools to use for our 2 dogs who started having aggression towards each other. Would definately recommend her training services and will be using her in the future as well.

I am the owner of a very skittish dog, Wicket. In the past I have always had my parents watch her while we were away, she is very familiar with them and their home. Unfortunately they moved and we had a 1 wk trip out of town this summer. We had no idea what to do. Last time she was kenneled in a time of desperation, the kennel tried hard to make her comfortable, but she was miserable the entire time and barely ate. Another time, we had a friend come and stop by a few times a day and she sat in a corner and growled for awhile before she would eventually skulk by and go to the bathroom, and again she barely ate. Then...... we found Traci. Wicket took to her right away. She had amazing treats and a very non threatening personality to the point that she only barked once and then she walked off with Traci a few minutes later. Traci helped us work with our vet to get our dog on an anti anxiety medication for when we were away. While we were away she came and greeted Traci every time she visited without growling, and the proof of it all was that Wicket ate her food thanks to a few tricks up Traci's sleeves. I have to admit that wicket seemed depressed when she didn't get to see Traci every day after our return. I can't express enough how wonderful she was and how much individual love and attention she offers to the animals she is entrusted with.

In 1978, Steve and Joan purchased these 5.5 acres with 9-run boarding facility. It had been our dream to make a life filled with animals. Joan grew up next to a breeder who raised German shepherds, poodles, and Bouviers. She and her dad raised and trained hunting dogs. Steve grew up with a variety and pound rescues, huskies and Samoyeds. He spent many youthful summers on a farm in Massachusetts.
