Kris Savitski is an amazing teacher and listener. I was nervous about the little knowledge and experience I had with playing piano being 35 years old. As I took a music theory class in college I used to know a bit more but it had been so long and wanted to finally learn to really play. Kris was able to quickly see where I was at and took the time in our first session to see what my strengths and (many) weaknesses were lol. He was able to immediately give me a couple of drills to practice at home or anywhere to build dexterity strength. Every lesson I have been taking with Kris is enjoyable as we practice pieces recommended by him to get me up to speed and improve music theory skills but ALSO pieces that I am interested in learning. I used to think that taking piano lessons would be boring and dreadful to go to, but Kris TRULY ADAPTED TO HOW I LEARN and mostly uses genres that appeal to me! His INNOVATIVE TEACHING is what has kept me coming back and continuing to take lessons from him. Some of our sessions include him playing a melody while I improvise the harmony which allows me to really learn the type of sound(s) I feel sound amazing together in order to write my own pieces. He will also video what I'm playing via my phone so that I can remember the improvised sounds and notes, along with finger placement for me to refer to when practicing at home. Of course he provides classic learning pieces to practice which are key for me to improve my music reading skills and muscle memory for finger placements as well. I mentioned to Kris in one of my later lessons that I wanted to write AND SING songs and he has now incorporated voice lessons with our practices. I never thought I would have enough courage to sing seriously in front of someone but Kris has a way of being professional yet truly helpful in a way that allows you to be comfortable as it can be scary opening your creativity up to anyone. Therefore I now have the the courage and ease to sing in front of him and have learned so many breathing and vocal techniques since we've started incorporating vocal too! I would highly recommend Kris to anyone at any skill set level as he is a true teacher and listener with extreme talent.

I worked with Shannon and he was everything I could have hoped for and then some. I had an unusual request of learning a song to play for my wife at our wedding and had zero experience. He taught me the basics and then he broke the song down into chords and away we went. He had me completely prepared come wedding day and even brought and set up my keyboard as this was a surprise. He also provided some tips on the singing aspect as well. Him and his wife are incredible people and I'll never forget the impact they had on my life and our wedding day. Do not hesitate for a second to hire him for ANY goal you have regarding piano. Thank you again, Shannon!

When we arrived for the initial consultation for singing lessons and my daughter saw the piano, she asked if she could take piano lessons first. So, we're now taking piano lessons from Bonnie. I find her to work very well with kids, my daughter is 8, and my daughter likes her and is happy too. She explains things clearly, gives praise when earned, and is helpful and pleasant to work with.

I have always wanted to learn the guitar. I took guitar lessons from Sky and feel that he helped me progress quickly into chords. He also paced lessons for where I was at, but encouraged me to grow. He models what and how I was supposed to play showing me proper technique. Very positive experience!!

Today was my first day working with Darin, and I must say I was more than impressed by his knowledge in music, skills in pedagogy, and his overall passion and enthusiasm for music and teaching! I could truly sense his excitement for me to learn and how much he cared to provide me with all the resources needed for me to succeed. He is not only an excellent pianist, but truly has incredible talent and knowledge in teaching. He truly spends his time generously in teaching and makes the learning experience so exciting. Darin spend extra time outside of the lesson planning out the lesson and then typing up all the things we covered in the lesson so I would have a summary and point of reference. I highly recommend him and am looking forward to working with him as my teacher!

Marcy has been a phenomenal teacher. I am an adult learner just starting on the piano and have been taking lessons from her for 6 months now. Marcy is very patient makes you feel very comfortable about being a beginner. She keeps the lessons interesting, engaging and relevant to your aspirations. She is very knowledgeable about music and about teaching piano. She includes as little or as much music theory as you want. Give her a call. You won't be disappointed. Highly recommended!!

JD has been an excellent piano teacher to both of my kids for over 8 years! He comes to our house, he is fun & personable and is an excellent musician with diverse knowledge & experience, and a great teacher. He is sensitive to the learning styles of my kids and knows just how adjust his expectations so that they are challenged and still find piano "playing" a joy! I can honestly say, I could not ask for more that what he already offers us already. My kids are well on their way to being great pianist, musically literate and playful composers!

I have a wonderful background of experience with children ages 5-12. I am great with kids and really like to help them learn in a way that is fun and interesting for them. I am currently interested in expanding and developing a similar background teaching young adults, parents and seniors. Anyone who is just getting into piano or returning to piano after a long time, who wants to learn in an easy, fun and enlivening way that is personalized to their interests and abilities would be someone I would enjoy teaching. New possibilities are exciting to me. I enjoy learning new things, and continue to research teaching methods, and learn new music to teach to my students:)
