Goals
Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I think that one of the most amazing parts of my job is that I get the opportunity to see a breakthrough moment or a shift in perspective. It can be absolutely breathtaking to witness the moment when a client recognizes a unique strength or a story they've been telling themselves that is not actually true.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

The initial coaching consultation is free in order to get to know one another prior to any commitment from either side. I ask for a private coaching retainer of $400 monthly. The retainer covers four 1-hour sessions weekly. Additional sessions for the week may be purchased at $120 per hour. I ask for a minimum commitment of 3 months or 12 sessions as it allows time to identify and work through self-defeating behavior as well as obtain significant results with specific goals. The ideal coaching relationship would last for 6 months or 24 sessions. Distance sessions available by phone or via Skype. In person coaching sessions available for those in the Portland area. Please note that the first monthly installment is due at signing to secure spot.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

As a child, I grew up with one parent in prison and the other struggling with alcoholism. By the time I reached adolescence, the emotional pain had become so unbearable that I ended up turning to alcohol and drug use in order to cope with my sadness. The pain, however, did not go away and my thoughts were clouded with suicide on a regular basis. The work that I did on myself and the help that I received during those dark moments is the reason I am here today. Too often, we think there is no choice and that there is no way things can get better. But things can get better and the work I do with teens and young adults helps them understand and accept this perspective.
