Our eldest has worked with a few tutors from Emergent Education, getting help with Pre-Calc, English, Physics, and the SAT. The experience has been excellent. Eric put together a solid team. When our youngest fell way behind on geometry homework this year, Eric recommended we work with Addy to get caught up. She's wonderful. Seriously appreciate all the support we've had over the years and highly recommend Emergent Students as an affordable option for elementary/middle schoolers. Thank you!

My daughter had a major backlog of algebra homework to get through. She generally does well on test and quizzes but just had no motivation to do her HW. Emergent Students has really helped her catch back up. She's getting her work done on time now and seems much more motivated and excited about math in general. Thanks Eric and Addy!

Addy has been amazing. Our 7th grade son is normally great with math but has struggled with the stress of distance learning. After few sessions things have already turned around. She explains things clearly and really puts him at ease. Highly Recommend!

Addy has only just started working with our 5th grader, but she's already made such a difference. They work on homework together and Addy makes it fun and engaging in a way that has been really lacking with online school. Thanks so much!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Rates for one-on-one tutoring are $30 per hour for online and $40 per hour for in-person (coming soon!)

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We typically start with a short phone consultation. It’s an opportunity for us to get to know you or your student a bit better. We’ll ask about you or your student’s needs / goals, talk a bit about the process and expectations and answer any questions you may have. From there we'll connect you with one of our excellent tutors.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Our tutors are all top-of-their-class high school or college students. They know the subjects well and are close to the experience of learning in a way that many professionals are not.
