Brenda was awesome. She did exactly what I asked and was quick. In only a week, she was able to do an amazing mural in my bathroom. Truly, a one of a kind. I would totally recommend her and will probably use her again!Apr 2, 2019Verified

Brenda did an amazing job on our large company project which in part included a large 35'x9' wall mural that transformed a once dingy room to a space that evokes pride in our company and our valued team members. She took our concept and improved upon it making it something even greater than our expectations. She was a pleasure to work with & would highly recommend her services.Mar 28, 2018Verified
Brenda was a dream to work with. She was very responsive and gave us a quick and fair quote then paid a deposit, scheduled a meeting, and got cracking! We were very impressed with the quality of Brenda’s work and how quickly she covered ground (or wall). We made a few tweaks along the way which I was hesitant to do because of the possible headache but Brenda seemed to enjoy the process and painted the murals how we envisioned them with grace and professionalism. It was easy to tell this is a passion of Brenda’s because she really poured herself into the project and I think that was the secret ingredient to make our murals come to life! I would recommend Brenda to anyone because I know her skills have a deep range AND she is a lovely person who is extremely pleasant to work with and just to be around! Thank you, Brenda!Mar 14, 2019Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Every mural project is unique and one price does not fit all. Prices are determined by a dollar amount per square foot and that amount is determined by the complexity of the design. The design is $250 which also guarantees your spot on the calendar. A clear coat protective coating is an option for an additional cost, determined by the size of the mural. Prices: Under 25 square feet - $35 to $55 per square foot depending on complexity of the design (nearly all murals get charged the lower price) 25 square feet to 50 square feet - $30-$40 per square foot 50 square feet to 100 square feet - $20-$35 per square foot 100 square feet to 250 square feet - $18-$30 per square foot 250 square feet and above are $15-$25 per square foot Pricing for murals under 16 square feet will be negotiated on an individual basis, All jobs must total at least $500
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First we'll discuss your project and come to an agreement on pricing, timing and the design. A payment of $250 initiates the design process and gets your project on the painting calendar immediately upon receipt. On the day painting is to begin, it is requested that the mural surface as cleaned and primed and the space in front of the wall is clear to make room for the painting process. Half of the cost is due upon arrival and the balance is due upon completion of the mural. When you are happy with the results, please write a short review for Thumbtack. :)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have had the pleasure of working for Disney Consumer Products as a digital character artist for several years on staff and several remotely as a contractor. Other clients include or have included: Nickelodeon, Warner Brothers, Random House/Penguin and Lakeshore Learning materials. My education includes Art Center College of Design in Pasadena and several classes at the Animators Union in North Hollywood. I've also participated in numerous workshops and various classes around the LA area studying different mediums such as sculpting, life drawing/painting, design and storyboarding.
