Introduction: I am a Portland-based family photographer. I have always loved working with children and have been doing so for the past eight years. Tagging along to a few studio photography sessions, I know that getting that perfect picture can be a very stressful experience for both you and your children but that does not have to be the case!
My approach is to photograph children in their natural setting, if that be at a park, playground, your home, etc, while letting them play and explore.
This way you can relax, and they can have fun while I capture candids of their natural smiles. Many of my photography sessions have included building sandcastles, playing ring-around-the-rosy, and having my hair decorated with leaves. No excessive posing, or trying to get your kids to stay still.

Family/Portrait Sessions are $300 and include:
- travel to your selected photo location in the Portland Area
- 60 minute photo shoot
- professionally edited high resolution digital images with full printing rights

Megan recently came to our home to photograph our family. We have three young children and wanted to capture each of them independently and our family together. Megan was fantastic with our two older children. She naturally interacted with them and encouraged them to feel comfortable with her and the camera. Our youngest was only two months old, and Megan did an excellent job patiently waiting for the right moments to snap a picture.
When we received our final pictures we couldnt have been more impressed with Megans talent. It was obvious to us that Megan had an eye for working with children. Each picture was flawless! We were especially impressed with her creative ability to create collages. These pictures will become a part of albums that we will cherish for years to come.
Megan was extremely professional to work with. She was prompt to respond to all of my questions and it was easy to schedule our appointment with her. While Megan was at our home she was kind to our children and fulfilled each of our requests. She was able to quickly edit our pictures and notified us as soon as they were ready to be viewed. We couldnt have been happier to have Megan photographer our family. We will use her again in the future and we will recommend her to our friends and family.
