Latest Review: My son is learning so much more than the basics of piano from Shannon and developing the love of music and creativity besides just playing notes. He's 8 and just starting lessons.

Latest Review: From my experience, Blake Marble is among some of the best piano teachers in this generation, especially for his age. He takes special care to impress a large range of pianistic details onto his students, fundamental or advanced, all while remaining relaxed and tolerant to his students. He imposes not a restrictive structure to his students, but one which, with the help of the student, is a nurturing one which ultimately not only excites the student to practice, but also molds with and improves the student's technique substantially. Finally, Blake Marble is one of the few piano teachers I have found, which honestly and deeply cares about not only piano technique, but also pianistic artistry, and pushes the student in all accounts to developing a true artistry for the piano.

Latest Review: I highly recommend Tim as a cello teacher! I've taken cello lessons from Tim for almost 3 years. I started at age 44 with more than a little apprehension having had less than ideal experiences as a kid with a few piano teachers. I wanted to learn to play a lot of tv/movie soundtrack music as well as the more standard classical tunes. Tim's sense of humor and easy-going demeanor combined with his vast knowledge of musical theory plus his skill as a cellist are the perfect combination to inspire and draw me forward in my learning. He knows how to apply enough challenge plus enough encouragement to help even the older student excel to the best of their ability.

Latest Review: When we arrived for the initial consultation for singing lessons and my daughter saw the piano, she asked if she could take piano lessons first. So, we're now taking piano lessons from Bonnie. I find her to work very well with kids, my daughter is 8, and my daughter likes her and is happy too. She explains things clearly, gives praise when earned, and is helpful and pleasant to work with.

Latest Review: Liz is the kind of teacher I yearned for when I was taking music lessons as a child. She makes it possible to succeed by her encouragement, high expectations and the fact that she breaks each task down into manageable pieces. My 9 year-old daughter has been taking lessons from Liz for almost 5 years. During that time, she has grown so much in her love of music, her poise in performing and in her work ethic. My almost 7 year-old son has been taking lessons for 2 years. He is a bouncy, energetic boy and it took him a while to learn to pay attention to detail. Now he is so proud of himself that he can memorize music carefully and not have to correct mistakes later. My husband and I chose the Suzuki method because it trains the musical ear and focuses on developing good technique. We chose Liz because we knew several of her students and has seen their fabulous growth. We also really like the Group lessons (which many other teachers do not offer). They provide a chance to become comfortable with performing and the games make learning theory fun. Group also helps the families at Studio 88 be a chose-knit group. The students become friends and encourage each other. If you choose Liz as your piano teacher, she will expect you to practice with your child on a daily basis. She will give you a list of tasks to complete during the week. She will expect you to take notes during lessons. Her lessons continue year-round (with breaks for the major holidays). If you want to drop your child off at lessons and let your child practice by him/her self, then you should look elsewhere. On the other hand, if you are looking for the highest quality piano teacher who is willing to work extremely hard to turn your child into a topnotch musician, Liz is the teacher for you.

Latest Review: I’ve been taking voice lessons on and off for over 20 years in 4 different states with many different instructors. Anya is perhaps the most gifted, knowledgeable and relatable instructor I’ve ever had and I would recommend her to anyone from beginner to advanced! Truly a positive experience in so many ways. So happy to have found her!

Latest Review: I've been taking piano lessons with Kris for about 3 months now and it's been great! He really knows how to tailor the lessons to my individual needs and he isn't afraid of challenging me. The lessons are dynamic because he mixes sheet music with theory, exercises, scales, and improvisation. His lessons are very reasonably priced and he's always reachable by phone and email. He is also flexible in scheduling if you need to make any changes on any given week.

Latest Review: Paul Paresa is a true professional that can teach lessons, lead the band and be an amazing person and musician. I had Paul Paresa on my junior recital last week. He helped a lot with recital organization and gave really good feedback to other musicians such as drummer, bass and guitar players and etc. Paul is a great musician to work with. Highly recommend!

Latest Review: I sent Phil Greek an accappella song that I wrote and had in my mind for many days. He listened to it and in the next day he sent me back a complete piano structure for my song, we talked about ideas that could make my song sound better. When I went to the studio we already has the idea of what we were doing, and took just a couple of hours to record a good sample a my song and also thought about new songs and ideas for some other pieces. Phil is very professional and creative. He would keep telling you new ideas for any type of music. I am willing to keep working in my songs with him, the only bad point is that I live far from the studio, but it is worth the driving.
